The Gremlins were Jelly because the new guns were too good and Wolverful, so they found a way to sabotage their development and Devilited all the designs, OOO found out too late and then decided to put all the gremlins who destroyed the update into the eternal sLumber... and thats how the apocrean plateau got expanded, yknow, they had to do something with all the corpses.

I'm curious what is taking the update so long though. You have already released the preview server a long time ago, the only thing I could think of that you could be working on is balance which you know not of, 50 more armors, or more guns

We all know you're an alt of a game master. Stop giving out blatant "hints" about the other stuff players leaked already. We get it that OOO is obviously taking their time to bundle a bunch of content to "rerelease" sk most likely to bring back players. Let's be honest, a gun tweak won't do it, a rerelease will.

I mean addy tries to start new conversations other than the usual rage fest on the forums, and kept backing up OOO's promo after promo logic. To the point it'd seem weird for a random person to do. Follow enough people on the forums and you can see the blatant astroturfing that goes on. Anyhow, Addy's "hint" is just OOO's way of telling us there's other content too and that's the reason why it's been held up. Something an employee on the pr side would do and has been leaked a zillion times by others

And no it's just my gut feeling. There was some extra little stuff on the testing server and Nick had previously talked about all sorts of other plans, it just makes sense to me that there'd be a little extra with our long-awaited update. I'm not BANKING on it but I just have a feeling.

Also Hyper-Galactic - I suppose denying it would just look suspicious, so I'll just say that game design and logic has been an interest of mine since childhood. I've played a ton of online games, watched some die, some thrive, watched game economies go crazy or stabilize, etc. So I feel like I have a bit of insight into it more than most players here? (I mean, being almost 26, I have literally been playing video games longer than some people reading this have been ALIVE.)

I'm also a bit of a "devil's advocate" - I try to see the other side of things, and honestly, when I try to look at the decisions OOO makes from their perspective, a lot of it makes good sense. At least the conclusions that I come to, anyway (which I am almost always voicing, haha). Empathy's always been a big deal to me too so I also try to understand what fuels those decisions. And considering how negative so many threads here are, playing the devil's advocate means I get to fight on the side of a crew I admire.

And I have nothing against throwing $20 at a game that I support and love. It's not that weird, is it? There's several communities that I've been in where that sort of thing is pretty normal. Maybe I'm just generous. If it helps, I didn't buy any Solstice Boxes. ;) (I'm living at home with currently no bills, so all income is kind of "fun income," and after playing completely free for a while, I wanna help out where I can.)

That said - Which GM would I be!? I'm super curious now. ;w;

In my opinion, I'm GLAD that the gunner update is being delayed!
Why you ask? I'm training to become a master bomber and the gunner update is gonna be EXTREMELY.... annoying (especially for me in LD).
The only change to LD I predict is a bunch of OP gunner strikers stunlocking and killing me from 6-10 spaces away...
Then again maybe that means I'll get more gunner support, but I highly doubt it.

Meanwhile, can someone at OOO please find the spec of code labeled as "Auto-Target" and press the delete button? Ill send you a bowl of fettucine alfredo, and a valentine's day card.

I don't know if you got the memo, but OOO has auto target turned on by default for all new players. You actually have to turn it off when playing on a new computer. I doubt this means OOO is willing to remove AT any time soon.
