How to consistently dodge the apocrea harvester. (Must start this method AS SOON as you have been spotted, to about 1 second after for best results.

If you have your dash (not required though):

Step 1: Head in a linear direction away from the apocrea (any of the 8 directions work, N, NE, E, etc). Do this for about 3
seconds after the apocrea has spotted you. Dash whenever, if you have it.
Step 2: Change the direction you are heading in by 45 degrees (for example, if you were heading east for 3 seconds, you can go NE or SE). Head in the new direction for 1 second.
Step 3: Repeat step 2, but don't go back to the direction you were heading in for step 1.

Here is an example:

If the apocrea has spotted you:

As soon as he has spotted you: Head north for 3 seconds. Then, turn northwest and continue like this for 1 second. Then, finish by going west (Should end up perpendicular to your original path.

Hope this helps! The tentacles follow a linear path, so making a large portion of a "circle" is the best counter. I have found that going straight works 50/50, and making too tight of a circle is not good. The method above helps get you some distance as well as avoid the tentacles. Just try not to get stuck in a corner, and you should be fine. Happy farming! I hope I was able to save a few sparks :)

There was one guy, I think Zaffy-Laffy, who pulled an Indy Jones. He walked away from Harvey, turned left for 2-3 steps then walked straight through the mass of tentacles. On occasion he bashed out of enter rather than dash.
