The only thing that could make this boss better is plushies, amirite?
Wildwoods is fun. Snarbolax is fun.
All the Wildwoods did for me is make me want the Shrines of Sleep back more. :(

I love the design of Snarbolax, and the spooky atmosphere of Wildwoods. The devs did an awesome job!
I tried to enjoy it on my first run.. but there was a douchbag with us that kept screaming: "come on; dont wast time; move!" and stuff like that.
Luckily, I got an awsome team on my second run :D
And the woods are awsome, and Snarbolax actually gives me the creeps as he stalks us all the way to his fight :D
I completely agree.
Even if they didn't add a 2nd mechanic they could still phase it a lil. You know when he rears up on his hindlegs and kinda howls. Well he could call 1 healer to dispatch. And could do so again to call a wolf or 2.
Actually, i pretty much expect that at some point regular mobs, a aplha wolver, or something will be patched in. Wouldn't really make the fight much harder, just make you have to be a little busier (which would be good). As it is now, people just camp on the bell holding shield, lol.
But the enemy is awesome. The woods are great.
Now if they we could just talk them into also putting it in t2 with t2 mobs :D Or skipping t2 and making a t3 version. :)
Also, @ SoSpecial, awesome idea to make him or a version of him a t2/t3 mob. Maybe not quite so beefy and awesome, but a minion version of him. Yay for new mobs.
If you try doing it in tier one gear the difficulty is pretty much about right so i don't see any need to add in other stages/let him spawn other mobs etc.
Overall I think that the developers have done a good job with this one =)

I think Snarbolax should be the T2 boss, he looks much more intimidating and fearsome than JK . Seriously JK looks like a large pink pudding wearing a crown. Snarbolax made me jump back a little when he appeared out of nowhere in the woods but JK doesn't even give me a sweat.
You cant say you don't find your desert attacking you frighting just a little?
I loved the addition and for T1 it is about right. It shouldn't be difficult for a veteran night. If you want to make it a bigger challenge then limit yourself to 1* or 2* gear. I personally guessed it would not be overly difficult for someone like me that has earned T3 access so my first run was solo. I learned as I went and in the end defeated him without difficulty.
I too liked the flavor of the Snarbolax appearing at intervals throughout the stratum. Nice job devs.
While it wasn't as challenging as I'd have liked, the levels were well designed and fun. :)

I solo'ed it with a swiftstrike Buckler, spur, cyclops helm, and cryo alchemer 2*...
that was awesome sauce! It is a great run for Wolver Mats, difficulty is great for new players or lazy coasters (like myself), and the new artifact gathering quest that will eventually lead to a "core quest" of some type.
.... the token shield looks great stat wise too.

Snarbolax looked like the bastard son of Giratina and Emperor Bulblax on second glance.
Just completed the fight was awesome! Quickly worked out what to do lol, and had 3 meatbags with me as bait seeing them dying several times whilst I slowly drained the boss down lol
Only problem I have with it is that he's a 1 mechanic fight. I think that's for the best though, keep it simple for the new people. And let me tell you they needed this, and the missions going up to the fight are awesome. Really the missions before the boss are better then the boss. the fact that you get small glimpses of the boss really does make them enjoyable. I remember him flashing across the screen the first time and everyone going "WTF was that?" I also really liked the atmosphere of this one.
