Market disruption
This would cause disruptions in the CE market and overall make CE too easy to obtain. CE is valuable because you can stockpile it and there are costs associated with getting it. If you make CE free everyday there would be too much of it and the market would be pointless.

ME can never be transformed
ME can never be transformed into CE. Three Rings will never want it and 99% of the players will say no if it could be transformed. This will just take all the fun out of this game.

If you want CE you have two
If you want CE you have two options:
a) buy it from three rings for real money
b) buy it from other Players for crowns.
No other options will or shall ever be made.. Reasons have already been posted in this thread.
