Keep your guild hall open to the public when you play so others visit your guild hall and some players may request to join. Don't expand your guild to fast. The more you expand the more expensive it gets so be sure you can pay the higher upkeep before expanding. If you can't pay your upkeep on time your guild goes into lockdown meaning very little of your guild hall can be accessed into you pay twice as much of you regular upkeep cost.
