I've been around Spiral Knights for awhile and tend to go on hiatus quite often, always returning to an abandoned guild, a few new skins released and a desolate amount of crowns.
So it looks like it's time to start over again. Only, Spiral Knights is now a very hard place to make money (at least it is for me!) and is a game that has only ever been worth playing with teammates for me. That being said, what is a good guild that accepts beginners and new knights, as joining a guild that does naught but FSC runs is no fun and not feasible until you get up to a high level.
A bit of a catch 22, eh? I can't make money till FSC, but I can't do FSC until I have at least four star gear... Which is to say, if FSC is all anyone ever does eventually, is it really worth playing at all?
Sorry for the rant. I love the game, but it seems to punish new players now and force you to grind over and over and over again.

Why start over? Why not just continue your old character, who already has a bunch of bound items, learned recipes, etc.? That would cut down on your grinding.
If you want to find a guild, then move this thread to the Guild Recruitment forum (by editing the original post and choosing that forum from the drop-down menu).
You might also edit your post to be more succinct and clear. For example, you're a Tier-2 knight, looking to work his way through the rank missions while farming Ironclaw Munitions Factory. So you're looking for similar knights, or Tier-3 knights willing to help on Tier 2.
