Hellooo, I've been running into this weird bug recently and it happened again today, so I've decided to make a post about it and wanted to know if it happened to anyone else?

It happens to me quite
It happens to me quite frequently, especially if I end up alt-tabbing while the next area is loading. It changes/updates when you change your armor, weapons, pick up a mineral or Vitapod, though.

Basically what Addy said.
As far as I remember, it doesn't happen as long as you don't alt-tab out before the area is done loading.
Failed to load model, better load some random texture instead.
