Why does OOO put the game in many other websites outside this official website and steam, and make it so that we can only use our account from the website, not from this official website or steam? For example, I am playing SK a lot in Kongregate because i find this game in that website, but then, i can only play the game with my Kongregate account. Now i cant even play SK in steam with my Kongregate account!

Zaffy brings up a good point. But this is an MMO, and if you're going to be playing it for years to come, it would be very very nice to use the official launcher over steam/kong/wherever. I suppose it isn't that big of a deal, like I don't expect the devs to come running over and implement features etc... but I do think it would be nice if we could at least put in a support ticket and have our account moved onto the official game, or otherwise.

I've asked, and it seems the contract makes it impossible to move accounts save from the main to Steam.

except for steam, which has sales and allows voice chat, I dont see why it makes any difference...
Because all these other sites want to tie their revenue with the game, so they made these "exclusive" accounts that, if you want energy, require payment through their own channels, effectively pocketing some of the money that goes to OOO.
