is it allowed to unbind accessories and sell them or not?
i was trying to sell one, i let the customer know they needed to cover the 8k ce fee to unbind it, to which they promptly called me a scammer despite offering to provide a collateral, and reported me.
golly was i happy to get kicked out of the game a few minutes later, greeted with a message letting me know it's scamming to claim an item costs 8k ce to unbind, and if i scam again i'll get banned, something along those lines, i was too astonished and altf4d.

was it because i used the word unbind instead of remove? did they reduce the cost to unbiiii.. remove back accessories? did i accidentally 8k ce from the guy by telling him the cost?
the questions.
hold on, what? ( •᷄ὤ•᷅)?

The correct wordage is "Recover". "Removal" is the destruction of an accessory and is free.
"Unbinding" at the most, costs 4k CE for a 5* item. The game probably thought that the complaint regarded an item, not an accessory, so it booted you.
All and all, it was just a misunderstanding.
unbind is a word i'm more used to, than recover
i hope i'm not expecting to much if i think anybody should know that even if i use the word unbind, if i'm selling an accessory, i'm actually doing the recover thing
i merely prefer some words over others, no offense to recover but unbind seems more on point here
i wasn't scamming, no, and darn would i laugh if i stumbled across another confused ovary reacting lady customer to report me for telling them there's an unbind fee they gotta pay, and get banned for scamming because of it
it would be funny
funny indeed
I agree that the meaning of "unbind" vs. "recover" is clear from the context in this case. But you might as well try to learn the precise term, so that you can communicate more clearly with other people. And selling recovered accessories, when you don't even know the recovery fee, seems pretty shady.
would i laugh if i stumbled across another confused ovary reacting lady customer to report me
On the other hand, this language seems pretty offensive. Did you mean "over", not "ovary"? And isn't the person who complained about you a "guy", not a lady?
Allegedly, the seller assumes all risk.
So you can be left holding overly expensive unsold items that nobody wants.
i know the precise term, i assume it's not necessary all the time, and usually if somebody is confused they ask, not report
"i let the customer know they needed to cover the 8k ce fee to unbind it" oh bopp
i checked to make sure before telling them
ovary is offensive now? sorry no offense meant, just a pun, eh
i don't know if they're a guy or a girl and it doesn't matter
i can't sell a thing or make a post without offending, i knew aggro aura had side effects (•ˇ_ˇ•)
The term "ovary" is not offensive; it's an anatomical term. The phrase "ovary reacting lady" is bizarre and offensive. It suggests that women are emotionally controlled by their reproductive systems. That's a variation on an old misogynist idea: hysteria, pre-menstrual syndrome, etc. I don't mean to make a big deal of it here. But you might want to think about not using such language, unless your goal is to be nasty.
you and i could be good friends bopp
you could teach me to not be unintentionally offensive, because i don't mean to be offensive
i could teach you to not get offended so easily from things that aren't meant to be offensive
sound like a plan, eh?
It's great that you don't mean to be offensive. And I'm not upset. So we're on good terms. Cheers.
maybe contact support and explain even if you don't get banned. That way the warning is off your record or at least there's an explanation so if someone accuses you again, you don't get banned.
That sounds like a tremendous misunderstanding. I'd open a support ticket about it, almost certainly.
Fehzor gave a link in their post, and I would recommend contacting support to, at the very least, ask them to tell you what it was exactly that they warned you about. If it truly is just a misunderstanding, I'd think they would gladly remove the warning from your record. However if it was another phrase you said, then you would know why you got the warning, and not to reproduce that in the future.
i'm happy you're not upset, bopp ♥~(‘▽^人)
thank you flowchart, fehzor and fangel, i will contact support
i was a bit iffy on doing it because if they warned me for just that they might be very negative in the future too, maybe somebody up there hates me
The standards for people getting banned can often be a little shifty, and it depends on the discretion of the member of staff reviewing the report and their stance on the situation, although they do, from what they say, try to be as civil and level headed as possible.
That said: you weren't, as described above, scamming and the person could simply have refused to give you the money to unbind and leave it to you to find unbind money.
