When the missions were first put into the game and a Hall of Heroes was added, I thought “Cool! I wonder which players they’ll put into it” and “I’m going to try to earn a spot!”

Well, to my mild disappointment, it turned out to be non-playing characters from the lore, which is fine. But if we could nominates active players for a Hall of Heroes, who would you nominate?

Here are some of mine with categories.

Media - Latisan-Sklay
He has done such a cool thing with his podcasts. And that video he made about “A Good Day to Be a Knight” was awesome.

Treasure Vault – Tevvokia
I’m not actually sure if she is still active, but her artwork is pro-level and her pictures of my Dragon Princess character are very treasured by me.

Merchant - Bonjourhippo (formerly Hello-Hippo)
This guy makes the Strangers look like rank amateurs. He’s been around forever and has to be considered the top merchanter currently active in the game.

Epic Achievement – Noxiousnarwhal
He just gave away over 10 million crowns worth of free stuff, no strings attached. On top of this, he can solo every Shadow Lair and has often taken his guildmates on free journeys there. It’s a great privilege to have him as part of our Lionheart guild.

Fashion / Accessories – Mayaura (formerly Mawashimono)
Lol – Yes, I know it’s incredibly bad form to nominate myself, but really, who else would win in this category? Also, I’m pretty proud of our guild. And as I stated at the beginning, I’ve made it goal to be in the players Hall of Heroes even if it’s just in my own mind.

So, who would you nominate and why?

I will nominate my self then, why?

-Making sick fan fics, and I think Mawa here can be my witness as I have participated in past fanfic collaborations as well as thinslayer in his RPs. I may not have been around longer than the the likes of vinny or dark, but I sure I have had my own series of success. Driving stories, thickening plots and make things interesting for all is what I do best.

-A decent forum personality, I may not have much influence in the actual game, but I think many of you already know how long I have been here for, I have done ranting, posting, defending free speech and debating with others, contribute my knowledge in the arsenal or the new recruits when I can. And till this day, I am still watching, in honour of my great friends Draycos and Arcknightdelta, I will be waiting.

-Make amature fan arts, okay, maybe I don't have the drawing skills of Jestur/Tev or the brilliant writting techniques of vinny/thin. But when it comes to making things interesting and fresh, then you should look no further, be sure to make any requests at my free commision stand in treasure vault if you want to, and the hams shall fall.

-Random poems to boot, always have my electric guitar ready when a bad topic is about to go down.

Gosh, Midnight, you EGO sure is high... -.-

I really don't see it going over well if we put people in the hall of heroes. That's like saying hey you- Noxiousnarwhal and Maywashimonaura are better players than you.

"Well yes, but I've been playing for a good year, I don't merchant but I really like the game and I'm not bad at playi-" Naw. You didn't make the fashion appreciation thread or give out 10 million crowns. You're just not a good enough spiral knight, ok?

"But I made some fan fiction and I post on the forums and sometimes I write poetry and songs, I don't have a high ego but it'd be cool to.." Naw, Tovvokia already did some of that. I'm glad that she's your hero. Move along. Maybe some day Three Rings will love you as much as these five or six players, but not today.

"I beat Vanaduke in full protogear blindfolded while multiboxing the danger missions! Shouldn't my skill be worth something!" Pffft, you'll never measure up to Latisan. He talks about the game once a week or so. First podcast, like ever. I don't care how many Vanadukes you beat with your pinky finger at once, Latisan is just better, even if he doesn't have 10,000 hours in game and doesn't come close to what you can do.

If anything, it'd be cool to sign your knight up and have a chance at getting into the hall... then each time people went there, there would be a chance of everyone still active (played within the last month) being where they need to be. Like if you had all of the gear that one of the people sold at 5*, then you could be featured as that person-- something objective that could be done that would make you get in, no questions asked. But making it dependent on some subjective personal achievement, whether you started a radio show, or made a fashion thread, or gave out crowns would be a good way to hurt feelings.

There can only be one medal, one trophy, what makes them so special? Because not everyone can have them.

Seriously though... I think we are better off without a player's hall of fame. We are our own champion, and at the end of the day it is all that matters.

You can always be creepy and name your guild hall of heroes, then salute people when they enter and offer to sell HoH recipes (you would have to collect them from basil i think .-.). Also, if they ask where the elevator is, just tell them to go to the terminal and them kick them from the guild hall so they warp to haven like in the actual mission.

Edit: Things people say, like the comment below me, just make me go "what. . .?" . . . . somethings just come off as so bitter it must be from some grudge formed a time ago that has remained alive and burning, or over the top spontaneous rage because someone merely has confidence in themselves. She's just saying she's the biggest SK fashion fanatic, not like she's really insulting anyone else. I mean you're trying to push buttons and that's not cool.

Not going to lie, I can't name any other knight interested enough in fashion to write super long threads about it. It's not that bad if it's a mix of gloating and just being honest.

Also, I am interested in others opinions and their achievements :|

Topics like these spawn when people like mawa get too excited over some noxious stunt his/her guild/friend pulled over a weekend. That being said, this is not such a bad idea, but just considering yourself the best at something was a very distasteful move. Subsequently, I feel pity for you. Try reevaluating yourself before you make such blatant claims.

I take over Zebulon's shift from time to time, but nothing really happens in the hall at that time of night.

a few other category ideas: most helpful player, fastest fsc runner, fastest SL runner, best merchant, richest player, most hours logged, oldest account, most max uvs, most vh uvs, friendliest player, best guild master, best overall guild, best LD guild, longest lived guild (jempire??), and best merchant guild.

that's all i got right now. these are just my opinions and are for fun. no hard feelings yo. i think it's good to give congratulations to players who deserve it. no this doesn't mean they're better than anyone else, it just means they're good at what they do. no need to send me angry mails about this.

I like walking down alleyways once I hear someone has entered the same one. Meep. As they shudder at the utter darkness and desolation of the area, I continuously whisper Meep. When the time is right, I tap them with my hammer. Jam goes everywhere and their eyes swirl around in circles. Meep. Then, with children saying Meep in unison with the rhythm of Ring Around The Roses, I poke their eyes out with a stick and leave them to cry out blood.
