Despite having an active interest in RPs and RPGs, I never considered Spiral Knights able to support that kind of gameplay. Although it's listed as an RPG, Spiral knights has seemed to be less focused on Story (Although it's still there, and sometimes quite interesting.) , and more so on PvE and occasionally PvP. I read the thread listed above and thought, "Well why not?"

Then I waited for the threads about In-Game RP events to spawn, but guess what? I didn't see any.=. Because of this, I decided to step forward and create my own thread, and it's goal is to inspect the community's interest in RP and decide whether it's worth pursuing.

If we can get eight or more people interested in making this a notable community in the game of Spiral Knights, I will create more events and generate more ideas.

Event Info

Wondering what these 'events' will entail? Well, so do I. Knights can have such a clash in interests or creative ideas that I've decided the community should be able to generate events itself. I will make events to make sure the community is engaged, but will also ask for players to make their own. To do this, they would mail me their ideas and plans. I would post the date and location on this thread to make sure it receives proper attention.

The events I will be hosting are planned to range from simple bar RP (RP used to expand a characters storyline or to just simply interact with other characters) to Combat RP. There will even be RPs that require you to delve into the clockworks, or kill a character in PvP.

How To Get Accepted

Knights will not simply be accepted. In order to make this a project that is fun, I will require knights to pass multiple requirements. Examples include:
Proper Grammar.
A decent knowledge of RP terms.
Maturity.
I will decide whether a knight can join this event by inspecting his or her forum post for the qualities above. (If you would rather send an in-game message or mail, that would be fine.)
