There's only so much one can discuss the gunner update not coming out, and I think we've passed that limit now by quite a large margin. If I had to guess, there'll probably be another promotion released in a couple of hours, and the texture change was just kind put there to distract us from the fact that they've changed some of the internal files in some way. This also means that we can't actually even discuss it here, as the "update" will require spiral spy to see and discuss.

Well I suppose at least this affects me, considering how I almost exclusively wear a Stranger Hat. I guess a little improvement is nice. :)

I don't exactly know what they mean by "clean up textures" since unless I'm blind, I currently see nothing wrong with them.
However, I'm smelling a Stranger Hat promo.

It's funny that I have actually bugreported this once, maybe twice. The Stranger hats (at least the military ones) have screwy icons. I wonder if this will fix it...
Also, I'm still hoping that they're actually sneaking in boatloads of content data and just aren't activating any of it. Who knows? It could be so big that it would take forever to download at once...?

"Content data". AFAIK, the last few one-liner patches have been to sneak in whatever promo's about to happen in a day or so. In the past, it also happened shortly before an event as well.
But hey, it might really actually be just a bugfix.
...it'd be kind of funny and sad at the same time.

The promo for this week is the rerelease of the Serene costumes and a bunch of Almarian-themed guild hall furniture.
It's a shame I'm not a GM anymore, because, honestly, I love interior decorating.

Explore the Clockworks for fiends and gather intel and fiendish glyphs. Investigate activities at the Ancient Grove and stop their fiendish plot! Collect Ancient Shell materials from the Ancient Grove to craft new 3*, 4* and 5* Tortodrone handguns at the mysterious alchemy machine.

The reddish pixels near the sides of the Stranger Hats had been bugging me for a long time so I'm actually kind of glad to see that fixed.

Tortodrones are still the most OP bull**** imaginable. Mostly the shard rain that covers the entire screen and completely ignores seraphic aura.

After spending enough time with these new guns, I find them to be rather interesting. The idea of an all in one weapon sounds a little gimmicky at first but once you get used to it you can actually use it pretty effectively. This seems like something I might use in the future. The option for a variety in playstyle is always much appreciated.
