Shadow lairs are NOT a viable source of radiants for the majority of players. I'm not going to spend tens of thousands of E just to get my 10+ weapons heated.

simple solution

replace the shinning drops with radiant on the last two floors of tier 3

this would at least bump the radiant amount up to something more reasonable

my last three vana runs gave me 51 radiants > +33 +9 +9 = 17 avg = 26 vana runs before *5 item is level 10

probably between 24 to 28 FSC runs is required for me to max a single *5 item

this is to much and will most likely discourage people from playing

honestly radiants need to drop more

1. There's more to the game than FSC. I would laugh if FSC didn't have any chance of dropping Radiants at all.
2. Why stop with two floors? I say the entire 6th stratum should drop nothing but radiants.

FSC is the best way to farm

FSC which is probably the best why to farm radiants unless you do uFSC instead for radiants which has some downsides :P

my numbers for FSC are pretty much spot on since ive done probably 100 runs in the last 2 weeks for radiants

and yes its possible to receive no radiants on a FSC run since ive achieved that

standard T3 runs in arcade or danger missions on elite will also award radiants but its an inefficient way to farm radiants

To every single hipster saying fsc is bad in any way possible.

-It's not. Its promised to give you at least a few radiants.
-the radiants start dropping at depth 25 with a low chance.
-being promised something that gives you radiants for free on fsc rather than playing the game of rng for danger rooms in arcade for a constant 3 E per room piles up, especially when the few clockwork levels don't give a danger room
Also this x1000v
standard T3 runs in arcade or danger missions on elite will also award radiants but its an inefficient way to farm radiants

I can understand that fsc bores many of you with the constant same enemies, fire, and tactics, but it's in no way a bad place to farm.

Sorry, I thought the point of playing videogames was to HAVE FUN

Playing the same exact 3 (or 4) depths over and over 30 times a week is NOT fun. And neither is trying to play arcade when a third of the game's population is stuck repeating a single mission.

Also it's a known fact that FSC pays way more than it deserves.

Finally, you know you don't HAVE to open danger rooms, right? Radiants can appear in ANY treasure blocks. You act as if FSC somehow has 100% chance of radiants, and non-danger rooms have 0% chance.

I'm not doing arcade BECAUSE lots of people do fsc, I'm doing it DESPITE them. It's not being a "hipster" at all. I just like variety. FSC has been almost completely unchanged in the past 3 years.

Well, first thing I said was that it can give you radiants. The same amount of depths that give radiants does not change if you're playing something else. It's just fsc has a much bigger box chance than the average arcade level for 3 depths.

Please do not claim opinions as facts. Some people say arcade needs to payout better than fsc, some say fsc needs to be nerfed below arcade payout or equal to it. From what you're saying, I'm guessing you want fsc nerfed?

And the amount of boxes from no danger room is very scarce, especially if you're looking for radiants from D25 and beyond. But if you're going about smashing things without getting your hands dirty in danger rooms then well...derp. I have never said in my previous post that danger rooms/non danger rooms can give 0 radiants. Adding on to what I'm saying, arena radiants are pretty much in the same boat as danger rooms. Very few gates spawn arenas at depths 25 and lower. But tell me, when that gate is gone where do you get your radiants then? Even if a gate does spawn with arena, you're farming the gate every single chance you get replaying the same levels over and over just like fsc.

Gonna end my turn by stating these few things because I'm enjoying this.
-I'm by no means saying run fsc all day every day. I'm just jumping in to say that it's not a bad option.
-As people mentioned before, OCH is a great alternative as well for radiants.
-Please by all means, play what you like. It's not my choice to make your knight go where it's heart's content. What's fun to you may not be fun to others, and vice versa. If you can get radiants by what you're doing then hey, more power to you.

Awaiting your response :x

Edit:Thanks raven! I bookmarked it before but somehow it vanished. Keeping your spreadsheet for future reference if ya don't mind.

I don't have a count for FSC's boxes (because I quit the game because I wasn't having fun doing only FSC for progression. I returned after the forge update and have only played it a handful of times.)

The arcade average box counts can be found here.
I know on IMF there is a total of 32 boxes, which means that it is better than 50% of the arcade depths average (with one arena having 31 boxes stomping its competition into the dirt).

if it really is an opinion, it's an opinion held by the vast majority. Just look how many people grind FSC. Would they really bother if it DIDN'T pay way more?

The reason I said "nerf fsc" and not "buff everything else" is because it seemed like the simpler solution.
