OK as the topic suggests Does Chaos which has High Ele defence protect against DA/Volt in LD??
I'm a guy who does a prety low amount of dmg in LD avg. is like 9-11K soo her's my usual loadout

Chaos and Skolv
and the other

Acheron
Chaos
Skolv
So does FF which is pierce deal less dmg against a guy using full skolver?
Or does GF and Ache do less dmg to a guy using full Snarby set?

If you mix Skolver and Chaos, you will not gain any piercing or elemental defence.

TL;DR: don't mix different defence types and don't invest in UVs unless both of your armour pieces has defence against the same damage type as UV you're investing in.
It will make you take less damage from the shock ticks but you will still experience them more often that if you used Grey owlite and it is immobility in LD that gets you killed.
Chaos will *probably* protect you a teensy bit from Divine Avengers and Brandish-family swings. A Voltedge charge, on the other hand, will rip you to pieces. Or any other status-causing attack for that matter. But then you'll be likely to kill him first anyway with all that damage power Chaos gives. If you want armor for its Elemental/shock protection and not outright murder power, go er.... Grey Feather, maybe mixed with a Perfect Seerus Mask?
And you're right about FF doing less to Skolvers and GF and Acheron doing less to Snarbos. But not enough to really matter for the GF/Acheron vs Snarbo bit.
