I was talking to my Guild Master earlier, and I told him I was so thrilled about the gunner update. Then he told me it wasn't going to happen. I kinda agree, I feel like the new guns from the Tortodrones, are a fragment of what was supposed to be, the gunner update. One of the admins said it was going to happen in January or November, it's July.... and that was posted in 2013. So now, is the game finished? No more updates? Or is it going to be something HUGE that it will take that long?
Will this game ever have a BIG update since sprites?

Oh come on, why would you say something that you know is not true? Gunner Update is on its way. The new guns were already tested by the community on the preview server a month or two ago.
There also is enough ground to say that the next huge update is going to be so huge that you will be amazed by its hugeness. Recall:
1) Next phase of Arcade redesign.
2) Post-Vanguard missions.
3) New T3 boss, most probably Herex (that would also mean a new Shadow Lair, I believe).
4) New guns and armors.
The guys out there already feel a lot of pressure. Just don't increase it and have some patience. Or just imagine that you know nothing about the future update, and simply play SK as usual.

To be fair...
I believe I'm quoting Dibsville here, but they never did say what year the gunner update would come out. They could release it November of this year and be true to their word.

Give them some time.
I know everyone is frustrated that OOO keeps on delaying the gunner update, even I am (I seriously want new content), but who knows? Maybe they are keeping us in suspense just to throw out a massive new update (even though I highly doubt it), you still need to give them a chance to keep their word and release new content. As annoying as it may be, patience is the key.

People on the test server for the gunner update had multiple complaints regarding what was found there.
Do you want OOO to:
a) Release it anyway and ignore all the complaints?
b) Listen to our feedback and withold the update until they can manage to improve it?
They went for b) this time.

Isn't it what they do with most of the update that happened back then? We preview test it, feedback then it just "major fix" and hop onto public for bugfixing...
But I agree this is a major update on SK gameplay... but if they take their time and don't deliver then it beats the point of taking 1 year when it could take 6 months into public...

Do you know what game you're playing?
All these complaints about the gunner update. Be happy that they still insist its coming. You know what update Im STILL waiting for? The core opening up! We were told after this game came out of beta that one day on the horizon they would open the core. 3 YEARS!!!! and there is literally no sign that will EVER happen. Be happy with the content they do give you even if they teaspoon it out to you. Damn all these great event ideas, constant rotation on them so they not common enough that their rare items are too common while still providing us with a little change of pace and things to do in the game still. Im bummed that there is not a regular stream of content but at the same time I enjoy the game and have fun playing it. I've given up hoping for any significant content release and Im not at all displeased with the content they have provided. But at no time have I ever bitched and complained about said content, or lack there of, as you all do on a daily basis. Seriously, 3 years now, dont you know what game you're playing?

Yo yo yo they are also working on a lot of other projects for the game too yo. I doubt they're working JUST on the gunner update, since that's just a piece of the whole picture. It'll come "when it's ready". Also, yes, the gunner update is BIG itself. Best be to its nearest "perfection" rather than hear a bunch of complaints reagarding the same issues once it does release.
The testing server was to hear all about those bugs/complaints from a small amount of people versus the whole SK community. No one wants another Pris Vee case again right? Right. That was a huge mess.
All we can do is wait and wait.

Move over, there's bubble-wrap to be popped!
Meanwhile, the employees of OOO have almost finished the Gunner Update, but then an all-out war breaks out between the GMs and Game-Designers. In the fight, all the code for the gunner update gets randomly wiped, meaning we have to wait another year until the gunner update comes out
be released in September! X<. they must be working on something other than the guns!
