What is Spam?
Is it getting killed by someone who just happens to have a weapon that has spamming potential, or is it using one or two weapons they entire match?
Lets face it we all "spam" a weapon to a certain degree because after all we only have a maximum of 4 weapon slots, we don't have access to every weapon/armor combination in our inventory (unless you make a boatload of loadouts) and even with loadout changing chances are you have some weapons from other sets mingled with armor from other sets.
the canned food aside,
I define spam as fast/frequent action.
If you're standing in place double-swinging, you're spamming your heavy sword attack, just by nature of you using it over and over again.
If you're unskillfully using your full pulsar clip, you're spamming.
If you're skillfully using double-switch technique with valiance, you're spamming.
There isn't any distinction (nor implication) of skill when I use the term "spam". It can be effective if you aim it well, or just a nuisance if you don't.
...But that's me.
When I see other people use "spam", they use it like a derogatory term like it means the person "spamming" has no skills or something.
I'm completely confused by that version of the definition because I've been told once in-game that someone comboing GF was spamming but me using ultra1337 switch techniques and streaming storm driver bullets... wasn't spam?
