If there is one thing I like about the new heating system is that once you reach the magical level 8, you have chance at a heat bonus and double level up.
And if you're super lucky, you can get a heat bonus on level 10, and your weapon or armor becomes "thuper".
Whether this was intentional or not, it makes me feel special. : >
