I'm considering picking up a Furious Flamberge for PvP.
The way I see it, it has pretty good damage and being a toothpick it's relatively fast and it has a wide range. The extra damage from fire gives me time to run away if I have to, ticking off their health while they burn, and it's a pretty decent counter to anyone wearing the chaos set and forces them to run to base if they don't die (assuming I don't get perfected)

I've got a lot of other weapons, so I'm wondering. Is there any reason I SHOULDN'T get this wep?

Combuster (ASI Med)
DA (ASI Med)
Acheron (ASI Med)
Warmaster's Rocket Hammer (ASI Low)

Don't do it. The fire chance on the Furious Flamberge is very small, and the loss of damage isn't compensated for properly. It's not reliable like Alchemers or haze bombs, so you'll be better off with the BTB that you have.

FOV would do better for your

FOV would do better for your hit and run plan but even then you would need a ASI VH and a good bit of skill, you would be better off spamming Combuster/Acheron charges than hoping for that fire chance.
