If I'm not mistaken, someone on Haven desperately tried earlier to reach a GM that could show up on Haven for the sake of breaking boredom. This might appen to be the endearing result.

as I said in my image, GMs don't just randomly "send out friendly messages" for no reason. I haven't heard from a GM in-game probaly all year. Not since Nick left, anyway.

My guildies were in a party with me and were shocked to hear I had accumulated over 2,800 hours of playtime.
That's over 100 days of play time on my main account alone. Not that it's anywhere NEAR the record, but 700 hours? I got more than that in a single year.

Perhaps not, but I'm not one of those people. I probably spent less than 10% of that time just chatting or hanging out in the training hall.
That said, between forums and the auction house, I don't see why people feel they have to pester everyone in haven with "merchanting".
