Heyo,

after taking a break from spiral knight, I have decided to get back into it a bit.
However, as I do not have the patience to grind my way towards lategame, I would like to purchase some weapons aswell as armour in exchange for whatever valuable or semi-valuable items I have. Now, as, like I said, I have taken a break from spiral knights, I do not remember any of the prices.
I thus turn to you guys for help. Every relevant piece of information or advice is welcome, as are trade offers.

The (imo) notable (and sellable) items in my inventory are

65,000 crowns
9000 energy
Tabard of the Garnet Rose
Chapeau of the Malachite Rose

I also have some 4* stuff which I suppose I could craft to 5*, though I dunno if it's worth it seeing as I don't have the bloody crystals (who came up with that idea? '-__-):

Welcome back to the game, and here I hope to be able to help you with some of the prices and some suggestions.

First off, price checks
Tabard of the Garnet Rose 120,000-150,000 Crowns
Chapeau of the Malachite Rose 350,000-450,000 Crowns (This might be worth more, since I'm slightly inaccurate for this one)
Average 5* Weapons (Eg. Glacius, Final Flourish, Valiance, Storm Driver etc) 4,700-5,000 CE
Boss Token 5* Weapons/Armors (Eg. Mercural Mail, Polaris, Argent Peacemaker etc) 5,500-5,700 CE
Promo Gear (Eg. Obsidian, Tortodrone etc) Can vary from 5,700-6,500 CE, depending on the seller

Next, my suggestions to you. Seeing that you already have 4* Gear, I would recommend you doing runs and crafting it to 5*. You're almost there. Why stop? If it's due to the Fire Crystals and/or Alchemy Orbs, doing runs with friends shouldn't be a problem. Rather save your CE, unless you're buying UV'ed gear. But welp, it's up to you really. I've got someone offering me 400kcr or a Chapeau of the Amethyst Rose, so you'd have to beat that offer.
Which leads me to a new question: What's worth more, a Malachite Chapeau or an Amethyst Chapeau?

malachite chapeau is worth more but with current promotion prices have dropped. It is a bad time for you to try to sell if you want full value out of your chapeau.

Chapeau of Malachite

This chapeau of the trio is least desired. Moonstone went well with polar and garnest rose goes well with volcanic. I know before the promo people were asking for 600k crowns. However, I have been in the market for several items for a very long time because I refuse to pay what their b/o is. I would recommend not selling it.

To be honest, just hunker down and farm FSC. You'll have to anyways to heat items so might as well get the crowns from a full run. The 5 star armor you get from tokens can be sold for 30k crowns. Buy your recipes. If you do it enough, the eternal orbs you get will easily give you "free" 5 stars if you already have the recipes.
