I hosted a party for MotT for over an hour now and still don't have a full party.
My friend tried joining me from the Social tab and it said "no longer joinable". However he managed to get to me via party finder.
He said another friend of his started a party with just two people because he was having the same problem getting people to join.
Is something wrong that's not showing our parties when people try to join?
EDIT: Now I'm told our party isnt showing up on the Party Finder..
I don't have 3 other people to invite. They're all either offline or not interested in/good enough for the mission

Same this has happened to me loads of times! DX
It's more like... we don't have enough information to what extend party finder/joining party feature provides us. That we always feel bugged by it. Hopefully, some Game Master could clear up the limitation.
Though, for quick solution, if all else fails, restart the party, you should be back to normal circumtances.
I restarted the party like 3 times and it still took me an hour and a half to find anyone to join...
People were farming the event like crazy at the beginning. After a while it seems like they stopped running with randoms, got their shells, or found a better party to run with.
It's a bit of a bug with the party finder, and a lot to do with people just not wanting to do that mission.
Wouldnt MORE people be rushing on the last day to get their shells? Most events don't see a drastic drop in participation after the first week...
People got super excited when they found out new weapons with new attack styles were out, and went after them. After playing with them a bit, they may have realized that it wasn't as great as they hoped, and stopped going for the mission. Many people may have ran out of sparks, or didn't want to pay the fee for most parties. Many people may have already gotten many shells from the last event, and wanted to play for the challenge for a bit, but ended up not caring after a while.
Also, people seemed to like doing this event on normal quite a bit. There are quite a few variables that we aren't taking into consideration when saying "No-one is joining my parties".
Logic:
Farm as much as you can when there's a lot of people around to do it. People get sick of it/give up after the first three days. A lot of people still had shells stored up from the last event as well since it was only 3 month ago.
February is three months before July?
Also I WAS farming early on. For glyphs.
I think that what Pandafishie meant was 4 months ago. March of the Tortodrone was first released in March.
Wouldn't it be easier if you just invited them directly instead?
