So instead of nerfing the most annoying monsters in the game, they force us to kill them even more for the glyphs?

I resent Three Rings every day a little more.

I'd rather they not nerf monsters

Fiends bring a fair amount of challenge to the game. It's better to not do too well against one monster family than to breeze through all monster families without batting an eye.

Shielding is quite useful you know... It is not supposed to be easy, otherwise it defeats the purpose.

On fiends...

I used to have a vendetta against fiends, but now I feel like I'm not entitled to any sort of grudge after slaughtering so many of them this month...

Even as nasty as fiends are, I'd still rather not have them walk right into my sword like nearly every other monster.

Devilites arent that much harder, just require a different approach. Unlike most mobile mobs, they focus on ranged attacks, and tend to dodge around at random.

That said, the event was already over when you posted this....

Devilites have some of the

Devilites have some of the best ranged attacks (with projectile speed and accuracy)
Gorgos in T3 can break nearly any shield with their bite combo and their floaty movement makes them hard to target.
Trojans a dangerous but predictable, unfortunately most are accompanied by other monsters so trying to one shot them may get you killed and thinning out the enemies can be tough too if you make a misstep.
Greavers are fast and have homing abilities, this combines with an attack that combines Melee, Bullets, and a Haze to create an extremely annoying monster that in large numbers overwhelms even the strongest players.

The biggest reason that devilites are so troublesome is that they get full HP after they transform.

Devilite>Overtimer>Pit boss>Devilite

Devilite>Yesman>Overtimer>Pit boss>Devilite

Being able to get full HP 5 times in a row in addition to fast accurate ranged projectile and great dodging capabilities mean that devilites are some of the most annoying monsters to face.

+1 to Holy-Nightmare, that's why I tell mid-level players to attack the Pit Bosses last, they take longer to kill, and aren't an immediate threat like the devilites chucking office equipment and pitch forks that can take down half your health @_@'

Believe it or not, overtimers can be EASIER than regular devilties, since it's easy to trick them into their slow melee attack.
