Hello my in game characters name is Zalestorm, and I had come into contact with another player who I won't reveal until a GM decides to step in. I have screen shots of him claiming that he has the ability to hack my account. I've never been in this situation before so I would like some help please. I'm very worried my accounts security and wealth is at risk.

Well, I guess things worked out he said he was sorry and payed me 50 ce after I told him I had screenshots so I guess I'll just close the thread?
Sorry to break your worries into little, itty bitty parts, but most "hackers" don't know how to hack. It's a blind threat they make when they feel jealous or insecure. However, if this guy randomly came up to you, and knew things about you? Time to run!
just type this in your chat /report
for example if knightname its bad-meanie then type this in chat /report bad-meanie
then read the options and choose the one from the list (if the reason to be reported dont appear on the list just choose the one that say that and you will be able to write the reason why you are reporting him).
and presto, knight who threatened you to be hacked will be banned end of the story.

Thank you for the tip. That should be useful in case of a future event like this happens. Ill make sure not to abuse it though.
Personally I would just ignore such people, cause I'm not scared of 13 years old 'hackers.' xD

People have been threatening to hack me across all my accounts on anything and everything for several years. No one ever has. What exactly did you do to get this threat? Usually when someone says they will hack me it's because I did something better than they did or I have a specific task that contradicts their specific task and I'm doing a much better job at it. Or they just think I look pretty.
You can either ignore him or report him. I wouldn't take his bribe unless you know he can't actually hack. But honestly, players who are willing to throw a threat to get things their way shouldn't be playing in the first place.
Gen. D is no place for this. Take this to support and cry there.
Just report him.
