Um... What are the bells for in the Snorbolax woods?

What is it for? I've seen 'em around and they seem to have sound when you hit 'em. What do they do, exactly?

They are not for decoration
Well, it's definitely not for decoration. Beasts like Wolvers, Chromalisks and Snarbolax will be stunned if you hit the bell and they are close. Without this bell, you can never defeat Snarbolax as he is invincible unless stunned.

Cut Him a Little Slack
Maybe we should cut the OP some slack.
I know when I first entered the Woods, I saw that I had a message from HQ, but couldn't read it because the other members of my group were whinning, "hurry up! hurry up!" I didn't catch the full significance of the bells until the battle with the Snorbolax. I didn't get to read the e-mail until after I had returned to the Haven.

When playing witch such douches.. I would go solo..
It's not a raceing game..
if you read everything, spiral HQ says that theyre Beast Bells. if you hit them when a beast is nearby, they'll get stunned.
and if you haven't already noticed, they're key in beating the Snarbolax.
