Also keep in mind that having two/three people programming a video game isn't going to be updated on even a bi-weekly basis. They only really should be working on programming for 8 hours a day 5 days a week, but even in there they should have an hour to eat lunch, and an hour or two in breaks, meetings, non-programming things.

That's 25 hours a week minimum from one person, and 75 hours a week minimum from the whole programming team. Debugging an issue might take up 15 hours of that week if it's bad, or even more time if it has created a trickle-down effect of issues.

We are getting promotions right now as they are much easier to make over playable content in large quantities in shorter timespans. I'll agree that we are getting a little bit too many promotions, but that doesn't invalidate all that the game has become.

In the past three years, we have dropped the energy system, introduced several new playable bosses (including danger missions and shadow lairs), expanded the arsenal greatly (Boss token rewards, event weapons and armors, PvP token rewards), allowed for massive customization of our knight through accessories an costumes, and so much more. The game's only really been around for three years, and it has evolved so greatly. Players only see what they want to see, and if they only want one thing, they'll ignore all the other progress the game has made.

Tortodrones didn't exist in the game a year ago. Nor powerups, nor barriers, nor recon flares, nor apocrea, nor apocrea's weapons, nor grinchlin assault, nor missions (+minibosses). Oh wait, you said events don't count - that leaves a bunch still on that list. Maybe you should play this game more often so you don't miss events (or subscribe to some sort of update feed from them).

Lets see, we have a 1k-ish playerbase, which is pretty good. We got new weapons not too long ago, and we have giga shades now.
Another case of the person that doesn't want to play another game while they wait. I can imagine you're one of the steam users, yes? you know, that go on every spiral knights announcement on steam and say "Gunner update, all these boxes hur hur hur".

Going out of your way to complain is kinda ridiculous. Play a different game. You're making the game boring by overplaying the game when you're bored of it. So, it's essentially your fault.

Irevolutioni, I believe you have the same problem that rest of us vets from 3 years ago do. The realization of how slow the updates really care. Two things happen to us. We play other games while waiting for updates, or just never return. More often then not the first thing leads to the 2nd one.

Also older vets aren't welcome on this forum anymore.
