I know it has to be in the 100k's because well look who i found. So i need an answer RIGHT NOW!
The #5 on that list was over 220k prestige the last time I was randomly stalking people in Haven. I can remember that, because, well, think of all the blood and sweat spent to earn that much respect, mate. I have never seen that much respect in one place.

From arguing about Osu! "Performance points" (pp) to arguing about Spiral knights "prestige". Why does it matter?
I can vouch that huge numbers of knights over 100,000 are missing from all of these lists. (Actually, I can vouch only that several of my friends are missing. But extrapolating to the wider community suggests that there are many silent veterans out there.)
Prestige is worthless even BEFORE you get the final badge. What's the point of grinding for more than double of what would make any difference whatsoever? It's a huge pointless waste of work. I don't even do the mineral missions anymore.
I don't know but both lists that were linked are pretty outdated.

Batabii is right, prestige is worthless. What do you gain from running each of the 4 missions hundreds of times?
Well to answer your question, I can play the game from depths 24-25 without having to run into the arcade; the missions are super short if I don't want or have time for a real arcade run, and I'm still getting numbers sometimes.
Oh more shining fire crystals and eternal orbs than I'll ever know what to do with!

me and my friend still doing prestige and danger mission daily for fun and help other get badge even we already have over 100-200k prestige point, for me prestige mission is another reason i still play this game other than chatting with friend.
What is Batabii talking about? Pony badge gives biased respect and you get less random friend invites.
Not gonna bother in removing my 69k prestige.
It says a lot about your quality of play and for fun. Paint and myself (Blameitonthebooz) have been running prestige missions for a long time now. Not so much to simply accumulate points, but it's a nice respite from fsc/vana runs. It's short (2 floors) and the 54 prize boxes you get at end helps with sparks and radiants especially. It's a nice change of pace. FSC/Vana is really boring. And prestiges are some of the few missions that pays off with the little effort (except for Heart of Ice) put in. Also, a nice test to keep player interest with the challenges. Without such contests to remind you of some fun, what else is there to do mission wise? Arcade?
Also, i'm at 200k. But i know quite a few players, with the same or more, that aren't on this list.
@ Batabii - If you were any good at prestige missions, you wouldn't bawl about Tortodrones so much. You won't find experienced players like us lacking the skill to adapt to a challenge.
"pony badge" is 45k. Why do you need 70k+?
And prestige has nothing to do with tortodrones (or skill, for that matter)
The prestige number doesn't matter so much, there's plenty of people with over 200k. However, repeatedly playing those danger missions on Elite over many months will make you a far better player - because you're being challenged a lot more than in the rest of the game. That's why I still do them.

I've had teams do Tortos without a single death or ER. You should seek out some of those "experienced players" to know they're reliable on tough missions. In fact, they look forward to them :)

@Me-Luv-Ulongtime: I have gone without death on occasion but that is depending on a matter of my frame rates. Otherwise, survival is conceivable in every part of the game if you are both well equipped and given a chance to explore that possibility. And I agree on the note of the FSC runs. The only time I really join them is when I am invited. Otherwise, be I skilled or not in tackling the last boss within the campaign, doing that mission feels like a long drawn-out chore.
Amaretto is, and will most likley be the #1 forever (until he wishes to quit), above 350k points for the time being.

Heh Larry, prestige is worthless? Your complaints on greavers being OP are equally worthless. After reaching a Vanguard rank grinding for more gear and weapons is useless, you running through clockworks everyday and raging at me for opening a danger room is worthless as well. This just shows how you are afraid of challenging enemies and missions, which I guess is why you think prestige missions are useless.
Prestige essentially shows how experienced a player is, of course the less prestige means nothing. Just like Groundbreaker set and Darkfang Shield, they are both practically worthless equips in this game but it symbolises something.
Just because you do not have as much, suck at dealing with greavers and view prestige as being worthless does not mean it is. The world does not revolve around you.
Oh, regarding to @OP, the player with most prestige will always be Amaretto unless he quits which he would not. I am at 305,215 as I am typing this post and I am usually the one with the least prestige in my daily runs. Different people have different hobbies. Just because I think Lockdown is lame and boring does not mean it actually is, I am unable to find enjoyment out of pvp but rather enjoy pve, personal preference.

Saying prestige is worthless is just wrong. Many of the noob knights out there judge other players based on their rank and prestige, as if it really mattered which in all honesty it doesn't. A player's prestige does not reflect a player's ability. At the same time though those with much higher prestige have:
A) found a way to continue to make the end-game fun and progressive when it is otherwise stagnant
B) have a way to be recognized and rewarded for their continuous efforts
C) and yes as Hades said get better, with more of a continuous challenge that the rest of the game otherwise lacks
Also lets address the ranks and prestige being worthless. We all have one type of Honor Guard Shield and Honor Blade if you began playing before a certain time. Your prestige and rank determined which one you got. Now thinking some sort of reward like this will be dolled out again in the future is as likely as getting the gunner update or arcade redux any time soon let alone the core opening. But it COULD happen, and more than likely if it does those who dedicated that much time and energy to their prestige will get rewarded. It wont be game breaking or all that important but it will be one more thing. Like all you players who are stuck with the 2* 3* and 4* blade and shield FOREVER. You never have another chance to get one and you CAN'T buy one. Its like owning a Dark Fang or the groundbreaking helmet or if anyone still plays who even has one a Mewkat hat. The high ups may one day get a somewhat rare, one time ever reward that all the bottom feeders who think prestige is lame, or there is no point to it will miss out on. So before you completely write prestige off and say its a waste, there was one time in Spiral History we did get a reward for it and when the prestige system was introduced they said certain levels of prestige may one day receive rewards. Who knows what the future holds.
Also I think PvP is lame too. I prefer PvE as well. Much more fun.
