This may be a farfetched call, but is there a history of all the gates that passed through the Arcade's rotation, ideally down from the game's launch day, that I can...I mean we can find and browse through?
An archive for Arcade Gates.
if this is a thing, the man doing it is a god.
Somewhere on the wiki (maybe the Gate article, or the Arcade article) the gate combinations are explained in detail.
But you want more than that? You want to know that on November 20, 2012 the third gate was Coral Bishop and its Stratum 6 was shock-themed and depth 24 was gremlin arena, deconstruction zone, or gremlin Clockwork Tunnels? Why do you want to know this?
Winter in the arcade...
You want to know about it, don't you?
@Bopp: "But you want more than that? You want to know that on November 20, 2012 the third gate was Coral Bishop and its Stratum 6 was shock-themed and depth 24 was gremlin arena, deconstruction zone, or gremlin Clockwork Tunnels?"
Among other things, yes. And if possible, the frequency of players running each gate. Surely OOO keeps a track record of these things.
"Why do you want to know this?"
Train of thought from reading the line between brackets in Spiral Knights' About page '(No two gates are alike!)'.
@Autofire: You want to know about [Winter in the Arcade], don't you?
I remember two instances, most importantly the infamous aftermath of the Battle Sprite Update.
The Gate wiki page tells you every possible Gate Name combination, Level combination, and Stratum Theme for the gates. Even then, they don't really go into detail about this. And the whole Battle Sprite deal did leave most of the gates alike (mostly Freeze stratums and the occasional Construct and Shock).
I don't think there's ever been one, and tracking them would be quite tedious and time-consuming.
