I woke up.

I looked around. Desert. Nothing but endless desert. Honestly, I had no idea that Cradle had deserts. Nevertheless, I was very uncomfortable, as I was half way buried in sand. I looked up onto the nearest sand dune. There was a strange banner on it. I trekked up the slope, tumbling down on occasion. I studied the banner. It was crisp to the touch and the blue and orange colours were faded. It was a very exotic pattern, I had no idea what it meant if it even meant anything. I took my gaze away from the beautifully crafted banner and I put it onto the great dunes of this desert. The dunes went up and down as if they were waves, the sun reflected off of the sand creating a magnificent orange and golden colour.

I decided I would slide down the dune. As I slid down, I my face was greeted with hot air. It stung, but I didn't care, the landscape was what was on my mind. My boots were filled with sand, my veins were filled with adrenaline, and my mind was filled with adventure. As magnificent as it was out here, I knew I had to get going, the golden sand was not going anywhere. Walking was tough, pain from the sweat that got into my eyes made me cry. Or was it the sky?

The dunes were beautiful, where angels sat atop.

Walking, walking, walking. How much do I thirst?

I thought so much, yet my love for nature is unrehearsed.

My need for water is very much profuse.

I stopped myself. There was no water in sight. I was going crazy. I smiled and fell backwards. Looking up at the sky, at the sand. I let it slip through my fingers the feeling was unmatched. The warm air seemed to coerce me to sleep. The seductive landscape drew me in and I was losing myself. I let out a deep sigh.

I closed my eyes and waited for nature to take me away.

The banner? Oh. No. It's fine. Another adventure for another day.
