4 v 4 T2 Lockdown Tournament

Hello everyone, I welcome you to the first ever 2014 4v4 T2 Lockdown Tournament! I invited a numerous amount of people, but it isn't to late to join! Just mail me in game or comment below!
(Sorry for any grammar or spelling mistakes!)
How teams are arranged

Anyone can be a leader and with the people listed below, mail the person with the phrase. #getonmyteam to request them on your team.
If you know anyone else who will join you are welcome to as them to be on your team. Once you have gathered your team, mail me your team members and also a team name so I can put you on the bracket. UPDATE: I am making the teams now and if there are any problems with any of the teams I will switch things around.

How 4v4 is arranged

If you participate in this tournament, you will receive a guild invite to the guild (make sure to get a guild invite back to your old guild and also ensure you get your previous promo at your previous guild)Pwnographic
When we figure out dates when the games will be held, you and your 3 other teammates will start a GvG queue. 2 other people who are not playing will be asked to sub in and will be paid (by me) 1k each to leave the game, making it 4v4.

When the games will be held
I will need your help to decide dates to hold the games. Hopefully we can find days that will fit everyone's schedule. But remember, The Show Must Go On!Come up with at least 2 backup players that can sub for you need. It cannot be from someone's team. The tournament will start after 9/8/14. Your team must send me 10k and also when you can play your first game so I can put you against your opponent.

Rules and Regulations

You may not

Use Auto Target or Toggle
Use Hammer or Kilowatt Pulsar/Heavy Pulsar

You may

Use Bombs
Defend but not Cap

Whatever your team thinks will be best for them is what you can do. I have eliminated Kilowatt and Heavy Pulsar because it is what people lots of people consider "spam" and requires no skill. I have also removed hammer because it also is considered "spam" and takes no skill to use (in my opinion). I have also removed toggle and Auto Target because there are so many silly arguments over it and it will take the skill out of this tournament.

Questions & Answers

Q: Are there any entry fees?
A: Yes it is 10k per team and the winner will get all the crowns donated depending on how many teams joined.

Q: When will the games be played?
A: Just in case you didn't see above, they will be decided by everyone participating, but if someone is going to be away a while then you might not be able to participate.

Q: Will you win?
A: Hell naw. (Just Kidding we will see)

Q: Will it be on a USA sever or a EU server?
A: It depends on the amount of EU players and USA sever. It also depends on how many will really need to play on this server. Well will work it all out

Klipik its 4 v 4 because lack of T2 players and also Bull its 4 v 4 and two teams play against each other 3 times and best out of 3 wins. I didn't think I would get feedback, so any other questions concerns or anything else is needed!

I suggest skipping any 5-point maps. If you get those, you have more players than points and they're not designed for that many people.

@Jayman: I've definitely seen Forest-Dragon effectively use non-Hammer loadouts, no need for dat BM ._.

+1 to skipping 5 point maps

Might be up to participate, dependent on the timing of things.

How will you be enforcing no AT? Recording is probably not an option for every single participant. Can always just go only bombs to avoid AT completely :D Hmm, new tournament idea...

Is there a cap to the number of teams?

Will all of the registration fees go to the winning team(s) or are you/your guild taking a cut? Is it 100% to 1st place, or a split amongst 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc? There's some stuff about this in your original post, just wanted to make sure I read it right.

Subs are allowed and if a player shows up then yes you are free to sub, Illu, Nocturne, or anyone else who wants.

How will you be enforcing no AT?

Recording is an option or just a screenshot you have AT off. But it is more of a trust factor but maybe someone like Feller (I heard he knows if someone is using AT) can decide :P

Is there a cap to the number of teams?
No the more the merrier! I will need to know when each team can play there fist game so I can put them on the bracket and schedule who will play 1st.

10K is the fee for each team. The winner of this tournament gets all 100 percent of the crowns. I will store away the crowns donated and also a bit more to there players who are paid to sub and then leave so it becomes 4 v 4.

Anyone can get on or make a "stacked team" and Beefman is pretty opeh but im not sure if he could win by himself :P.

half dead t2 player coming back! i havent played SK for ages till recently... and found out i still had access to this T2 acc for LD... not properly heated though... i hate the new heating system.. since hammer is banned... well... i have no choice but use my toothpick only...
looking for any available team to join!
oh and... probs i wont log in much unless if theres T2 matches to be played then i would gladly join! rusty skills here! used to be around when skybrandon/rising-cloud dominated the t2 rankings... and the jempire in guild lockdowns...
