Eurydice struck the energy market

its because there less reason to buy energy (you can get orbs farming the right missions or doing the right stratums in arcada, the same with sparks and other rarities), also if there less energy in the market, the more expensive energy become.

you can thank to the promos also, since now promos only give the prize box and not like before where you get: energy + prize box.

Maybe Atalanta wants to buy food again. Ugh, GMs are so greedy.

Also, energy prices at 7k is about normal. 6k is cheap, 8k+ is when you leave the game for about 2 weeks until it falls again.

Has everyone forgotten THAT particular day when CE prices went over Thirty Thousand? XD I'll try to find a screenshot!

Most likely explanation is that someone rage bought alot of CE, so that all the offers to sell for 7k got bought up and now all the offers for 9k are all that are left

I'm wondering if OOO also did that change so they can "compete" with the Asian servers. I think I remember the normal price for Energy being something like 10k+ Crowns for 100 Energy on there. I'm pretty sure I once saw a screenshot where the price was 13k+, too :D

I still think that the players that asked for that change are dumb (and that's putting it mildly). At least before the change you got a bunch of energy that you could use to craft new gear or just sell off in case you got a crappy accessory. Now if you get a crappy accessory, you paid 5$ for it and you get only a fraction of that price back if you decide/manage to sell said accessory. Must feel good :B

I can't fathom why OOO didn't just leave the Energy + Prize Box deals up, though. At least that would give people a choice of getting that "pack" or just the boxes by themselves. Then again, I've given up on trying to make sense of OOO's reasoning a long time ago.

That said, Smalltownguy might be right: the people that usually sell energy and keep the prices a bit lower are just on vacation and away from SK, and the prices will return to normal in a couple of weeks. Only time will tell~
