For the Tier 1 players wishing to level items quickly. The Snarbolax stratum gives excellent heat. I equipped a new 2* sword (Snarble Barb not that it matters) at Basil and worked through the 2 floors that lead to Snarby and by the end the 2nd floor it had gone up to level 4 (and a half). Admittedly I was only leveling it and one other item, so if you are leveling several they will not level as fast. But either way its a good way to get heat if you
Should also be noted that heat gain is often similar to crown gain, so the Snarby floors give good crown gain too. I did not check my numbers before but I will edit this tomorrow with the approximate crown gain from one run if somebody doesn't post it before then.

I was checking my crowns, and on a solo run I gained !700 from the first level, and over 1k on the second. Very good gains, and if you're patient, hitting the depth 1 arena is also good for both crowns and heat (but not as, since it's pre-basil and much earlier)
