It is not a rare sight at the terminals for a group member to rush to basil and purchase every single recipe, for the sake of reselling. Keeping in mind the fact that the recipes are in limited supply, e.g. 1 of each, this means that 3 members who worked to get to the vendor for a chance on the recipe to upgrade their gear are probably deprived of said recipe. I think this is comparable to ninjas of other MMOs, e.g. people who deprive their co-players of their right on loot for profit lesser than that of improving their equipment, and deserves action against it.

Seeing as how every successful MMO has done something against that behavior, i wonder if SK could, too. Either limiting the purchases of a player until their co-players have purchased equal items or stepped on the lift, giving unlimited supply of Bound on Acquisition recipes and limited non-bound, so that anyone can get their recipe without harming economy, limited supply per player (e.g. each player can only buy 1 of each recipe, but each player is not affected by the other's purchases) or some other, better functioning system.

After all, if someone wants the whole basil stock for their own, they can go solo before descending to the terminal.

Players can't buy eachother's

Players can't buy eachother's recipes. Everyone can buy 1 copy of each. If the recipe shows 0, it's because you joined on that floor or the floor above and don't get access to the recipes. This was done to reduce the amount of people who sell spots to Basil for recipe seekers.
