I was randomly running around the arcade when I had a thought. I know that some recipes, the 4 star ones to be specific, require the 3 star item to be at least lv 5 heat. However, I do know that a lv 5 heat item has less attack than a lv 10 heat item. If I craft a 4 star item from a lv 5 heat 3 star item, will its initial attack power be LOWER than if I max the 3 star item to lv 10, and THEN craft the 4 star item?
Advantages and Disadvantages of Crafting Non-Max Heat Level Low Star Items to a Higher Star Items

Hmm...
Alright. So it doesn't. But shouldn't it? I mean, it makes sense. If you raise a weapon's heat lv to 10, it has more attack to be crafted to the next star level than a heat lv 5 would....right?

Nope
I mean that would make sense. But no one likes having to level their equipment up anymore than they should, especially with the way leveling even works (damned Forge is gonna be the bane of my game fun). Plus, if it was like that, no one would want to play anymore because not only would we have to deal with the Forge, we'd have to make sure we level all the way using the Forge. On top of everything happening right now.
The level at which you craft it to the next star rank doesn't affect the new weapon's damage output.
