Pay
I'm offering at least 100$ for the work. Thats USD to be payed via paypal. 50% up front, 50% upon completion. If you believe you should be payed more, I'm happy to negotiate depending on the quality of your work.

Timeframe
I'm looking to have these pieces done by the end of September, preferably within the next 2 weeks.

The Request
I'm looking to have 2 pieces done. These will be going on my credit and debit cards, as such they should look decent at an 840 x 840px resolution. You can check the Card studio here : https://www.carddesignstudio.com/demo/Landing.html

Overall
The style should be similar to that of The World Ends With You if you're not familiar with the game, you can check out the style here.
Also, when the cards are arrange side by side, it would be nice if the artwork continued from one card onto the other. This is not a requirement, but if you can accomplish it well, I'm willing to offer a 15-25% bonus on top of our originally negotiated price.
What is well? That's my decision.

Background : Should incorporate the Crown Symbol

Impossible in SK* : Player Pin either about the size of a canteen on the right hip, or as a crest on the armor. The Player pin MUST appear in the piece.

My Battle Sprite: Max Screenshot

The art style of the battle sprite should be similar to the enemies("Noise") of "The World Ends With You" Namely the replacement of significant features with Tribal Art limbs/details. You can see examples here: http://twewy.wikia.com/wiki/Fox_Noise

And example would be to replace the halo, wings, and if you can manage, the gem, with tribal art versions, and then have from the paws running up the limbs, tribal fire.

That is just an concept i thought of. By no means should it be gospel. I would like to see a concept.

-----Additional Requests-----
1) An Additional version of each piece with the name incorporated. So on the Debit/Knight Card work "Diosim" onto it, and Likewise on the Credit/Battle Sprite Card, work "Max" onto the card. I could see a 10% Bonus for completion of this request

-----Trial And Error Results -----
1) Side by side alignments appear to be a difficult, over/under arrangement is suggested
2) Cats should stay cats
3) The background should be scenery of some kind, not just the Cr and Ce Symbols.
4) Scissor blade should be kept together.
5) Images should be primarily seperate and only when side by side / over under should the rollover be apparent.

Sure midnight, you're welcome to have a go. If you think you can do it human-esq more power to you, as far as hair maybe short and unkept? If I had to compare I 'd probably say minamimoto or joshua.

For the color, Lets see the lineart first and we can move on to color from there

What exactly do you mean by "Player Pin"? Also, what posing styles would you be interested in seeing? One more thing, I thought I saw something about having the cards line up as an additional requirement, did you not want that anymore?

By "Player Pin", I'm referring to this basically its the key element in the game defining players of the game within the game.

A rather generic one would be of my night sitting against the right border, facing left. left leg extended, right wrist resting on right knee. but how you would get the panoramic I'm not quite sure.

I would still like the cards to line up, but that's just a bonus not a requirement. the cards could be their own separate works entirely

You've got creative license to do just about whatever pose you like. although if you could provide a basic figure sketch before I'd be happy to give you a second opinion on it. even a stick figure representation would work

Thank you. I noticed there were others haha. I will most def. I'll log on and message you if you haven't messaged me yet. The likelihood of me only giving you line-art is low, as I wouldn't want to receive 25 for something someone else would paint and get 100-125 for. I will do concept work and toss it your way soon. I'm visiting my girlfriend until Saturday night, so I'm not super free. I should be able to bust something out though.

I don't normally work in color (not that I'm incapable), so gotta say that Midnight-DJ's work (which I'm pretty familiar with) is pretty damn awesome with color.

Also, I'm guessing Addy could bust some pretty sick stuff out for this as well.

Thanks a ton, but I have to give credit to the SK Art team. It's basically the exact same style of the SK characters. I'm more used to doing... realistic proportions.

This made me laugh. Thank you, I'm glad I was able to appeal something to you that normally wouldn't. Hopefully this doesn't border pedo-art on my behalf when I give it to her hahaha. SK always makes me feel weird because the characters are child-proportioned, so I don't like to create voluptuary figures with the same exact style. Thing is... the SK style can be done in an hour or so for me hahaha.

It's still a rough draft of some sorts. If I were to finish it, lines will be neater, straight lines will be straight, glow effects a bit more polished, more shading on armor, etc. I could try to tweak it a bit more to look like TWEWY style if it's not what you're looking for. I feel like I made it look too much like the original SK...

@midnight : you lost me. Not sure why you decided to make the seraphynx into a dog thing. And i ll be honest, its not what im looking for in this piece. From a genwral bystander point of view it looks interesting.

I'm not done even with my initial sketch yet - just wanted to let you know I'm still working on it.
Just so I have a better grasp on what you're looking for Diosim - I'm thinking of putting, like you mentioned, a scenery in the background, which will be one whole scene that connects the two cards while Max and your knight are on their own card separately. Is that more or less what you're going for?
