I'm sure some people like and dislike the gremlin promo, I love it, but thats just because I'm a fanboy. Though I like it, I feel there could have been more. Don't get me wrong, I like it, but it feels like there is a lot missing. Such as the following:
5* Versions of the Wrench Wand, Thwack Hammer and Deconstructor Bomb: (I wouldn't have minded them being reskins, but that's just me.)
Mender Armor: The hooded look would probably make some people like it, even if they don't like gremlins. Hoodies are cool, amirite?
Demo Armor: I'm sure it would've been appreciated, especially by those more bomb-oriented.
Incinerator Armor: Welding masks are cool, would've been some nice variety. Also, a flamethrower weapon wouldn't be so bad. But I know that would take a bit of coding and balancing and such, so you know how it is.
Permanent Gremlin Disguise: Like with the love puppy. Doesn't need to be now, but I'm sure some would love to see it in the future.
Gremlin Laugh: It would be pretty interesting to have your character's laugh taunt make a gremlin sound with the disguise on. Maybe a bit nit-picky, but would make it more fun to laugh a̶t̶ (with) people. Plus, their laugh is so maniacal and adorable.

Of course, these aren't DEMANDS, just some stuff that I feel was left out. I am aware that all this stuff takes time and effort to create, and therefore may or may not ever come into the light. One thing I have noticed is that this Promo seems to have more of a "cult" following to it. (People running around, mingling with other people in gremlin armor, pretending to be one, and such) I haven't really seen such a following to a promo before, maybe I'm just blind. Plus, variety would be nice because the costume section in the AH is ALL the same gremlin armors.
I like the promo as is, but it feels like raisin bran without the raisins. I can handle it, but it's not something I would dish out a ton of money for. Maybe the idea of getting an item DIFFERENT than a standard gremlin helmet, like the mender helmet, would make more people willing to buy the boxes, and help rake in more money for OOO. (No disrespect. I know FTP games need a source of income and such.) Just the idea that you won't just get another piece of the same equipment 9/10 times you open a box.
I would love to see a comeback of this promo in the future, with MOAR GREMLINS. I mean, who doesn't love their fuzzy little faces and welding goggles? <3
Maybe I'm going complete fanboy over this (pay no mind to my forum avatar), but please leave some ideas or feedback below.
I like the idea of making more permanent Gremlin gear and always like the idea that you could either play as rebel Gremlin or as a Knight dressed as a Gremlin. Being able to play like Gremlins would bring lots of new ideas for special weapons and gear. Playing as a Gremlin would make just as much sense since there are lots of Gremlins in Ember Light Town that have become friends with Spiral Knights.
