Rads are hard enough to get. Allowing the players to craft them would really help! Now, this recipe should be difficult enough, but not impossible. Not sure about the exact recipe, but here's what I was thinking. We can edit the original post with your suggestions.

- It could have orbs, eternals...

- Shinings? Maybe a combination of all the crystals?

- Some amount of cr for sure

- Mats (MAYBE)... Sun silver or something like that...

EXAMPLE RECIPE

100 shining fire crystals

3 Eternal Orbs

3 Sun Silver

Makes 60 Shinings

I really need help with the ratios! Maybe just 1 orb? Less Shinings? I just know that a lot of vanguards have thousands of shinings, so the number can be way higher!!!

Atm you need 3 Rads to make 5 shinings. So I think you'd get 60 rads from 100 shinings. Of course the numbers could change because of the orbs and mats. Thanks!!!!

Orbs are for armors, helms, and weapons.

Why orbs you ask?

Orbs to make it harder to craft. The point is that rads are rare. Orbs have many uses, anyway. They are also used to craft krogmo trinkets... They can also be used to craft rads. They don't have to be in the recipe, as I'm hoping for others to help me fix it up, but I wanted them to be a difficult thing for people to craft.

I think. That they should just make them easier to find when completing end game content on a regular basis.

Having them craftable would be nice, but it would undermine the idea of forcing players to complete endgame content to attain them.

Here's an lol idea. - You can only get sun silver as a reward from Vana… you buy it from Brinks with Almirian Seals.

Orbs are rarer then rads , and you can easily find rads in FSC on elite, You can find more rads then orbs in a single day.

That seems like a net loss in shinings to me.

But let's see, how about 200 shinings, 5 eternal orbs, and anything extra (Like, at least 10k crowns) if you want to make 50 radiants.
Orbs are for crafting, but follow a linear path to create them. (I.E., Eternals come after Elite, which come after advanced, etc.) Using orbs here would let me actually use some of the hilarious amounts of eternal orbs I have, and make there still be a "time dedication" to getting the orbs. Plus, if you bought the orbs from the supply depot, you'd be losing energy as 50 radiants are purchasable for 700 energy while orbs are 800.

I would like some form of data regarding the drop rates of orbs and radiant fire crystals. I've found significantly more orbs than I have radiant fire crystals, when considering that the perfect ratio of the two would be 1 orb per 151 radiant fire crystals, and I've never heard anything to the contrary from a reputable source before.
