Where does that listing fee and 5% take go anyway?

So you list an item on the auction house. Depending on the price and length you put it up for, you have to pay a fair listing fee. Congrats! Then your item sells! Oh, but it looks like the auction house took a 5% sales tax as well. Bummer. Wait a minute,so what are those taxes being used for anyway? Those strangers must drive a hard bargain for them needing to pay that much for a lease. Or maybe they play on making a huge renovation. However, after all this time, the auction house should have its own LOADING SCREEN with how big it should be, but we only saw a couple of sketchy banners being added. So it's not that. Well, we do know that strangers do love their shinies with the vendors robbing you of your cr and offering you their spare change when you try to sell something. So from this we can conclude, all strangers are as greedy as king krogomo, other than basil, who has been cast out for offering the Same prices as our fellow knights, sometimes cheaper!
And that concludes my near baseless rant.

If your item sells, you're refunded the listing fee. Also it's a 10% take from the item's final selling price. Just so y'know.

Have you ever been to an auction? Exactly, it just pays for services, those strangers ain't gonna stand at the auction house all day and earn nothing.
