Are there any plans for more DLCs?

I absolutely loved Operation Crimson Hammer and was devastated with the fact no other DLCs became available since then. I'm not a fan of Danger Missions, I prefer DLCs - pay now, play any time you want.

For example, the Kat tribe event could become a full DLC with $5 price and locked-to-player Black Kat Cowl, and additional pieces being craft-able by collecting a certain amount of tokens inside the DLC mission (operation). This would make it both more accessible and easy to obtain for the player (to cover $5 price). Just an example of how I see DLCs in SK, not an actual suggestion.

I think that's a great idea.

I think that's a great idea. A themed DLC for each "civilization" to delve more into the mystery of the less-explained lore would be great - bonus points for token/item grinding to add some longevity and replayability.

SOMETHING to work towards other than "Oh...look...no radiants dropped...again...time to restart FSC."

Honestly, just the addition of "random world drops" would be cool. Specific items that you can only get with luck off random monsters, but that can ONLY be acquired from this source, if even only a reskin or swapped element. Some other reason for grinding apart from the materials that never seem to drop.

Perhaps...

People are already angry with OOO for all the recent promos. Many of them are claiming that Spiral Knights is becoming another typical cash grab. But I have no problem with a few cheap DLCs. I don't think tossing in a bunch of ultra rare items is the best reward though. I mean, people have had to grind there butts off for multiple events in the hopes of getting the Black Kat Cowl. Just imagine the chaos that would come from people who have spent several million crowns to buy the thing, only to find out you can now easily get it for 5 bucks.

I think that special weapons from DLC is better. Much like the WRH and DR from Operation Crimson Hammer. The weapons could be slightly more powerful than others, being paid DLC, but not by too much. Crimson Hammer did it right.

I am all for more DLC! It would at least give players something else to do. And anyone who claims it to be another cash grab is more greedy then they say OOO is.

I like OHC's weapons a lot,

I like OHC's weapons a lot, specifically because they are "side-gradey". They are neat and interesting and useful, but they certainly don't "replace" anything in anyone's arsenal.

That trend is something I would love to see continue. It's sort of what I had in mind when I mentioned "random world drops" (even though those should probably remain almost entirely cosmetic).
