Fellow knights, I think over the years of us playing spiral knights we have missed out on a very important concept. I'm pretty sure the developers intended it and it is, 'lamp farming'. Oh thy lamps exist in so many flavours differing widely based on the theme of the level. But just observing their beauty isn't the point! These spectacular little lamps drops crowns, actual crowns! I've just come back from doing a shadow lair where our whole party farmed lamps. We received at least 50 crowns more in the entire run! I mean, this is totally game changing. Imagine getting 50 crowns more each run. Then multiply that over the amount of runs you've done in your sk life time. The sum is phenomenal.

Hence my dear knights, go scavenge for lamps I say! And return back to this thread to tell us your great lamp hunting adventures.

As long as I'm not desperate for every penny, I just bomb everything in my path and take the money that drops. If nothing does, I move on.

Perhaps I should begin Deconstructor(ing) lamps as well?

For those of you who may

For those of you who may still be skeptical about breaking torches, there's always a (small) chance of this happening.
