This is a writing contest. Every participant will receive a prize with those surviving longer receiving better prizes. Here’s how it works.
There is a fearsome creature loose in the Spiral World. Mawashimono, the Dragon Princess, has been charged with assembling a team of up to 10 Special Investigators. But be warned, at the end of each chapter one character will die!
RULES
Each chapter will begin with a short story segment from me laying out your objectives for that chapter. After I post the objectives, you will have three days to post your story. Failure to post a story within the time limit will result in your elimination by the death of your character. I’ll write the death sequences.
In addition to chapter objectives, there are standard objectives as follows:
1) good spelling and grammar
2) good dialog
3) character development
4) conflict and resolution
5) creative story telling
The character in the writing that I feel least achieves the objectives will be killed by the creature, ending that writer’s participation in the contest. With each chapter a writer will be eliminated until only one remains.
Each post must be between 800-1000 words.
Everyone will receive a prize for participating, with those surviving longer receiving better prizes.

CHARACTER APPLICATION
Character’s name: Mawashimono, the Dragon Princess
Character’s personality: Fiery, courageous, fairly serious but also sensuous
Character’s appearance: Storm dragon helm with fiery halo (tiara) and fiery eye, radiant silvermail with regal wings and a sunshine aura
Notable characteristics: Carries a specially enchanted Lionheart honor blade and a rapid firing Argent Peacemaker. Has a weakness for dark chocolate, fresh baked cookies, and incense. She can breathe fire and fly short distances.
After a week of accepting applications, I post the list of the characters that have been accepted into the Special Investigators, and start the story.
(I've been in quite the mood to use my Gremlin OC, if you prefer I don't use it, I have a knight I could use!)

Race; Gremlin
Gender; Female
Personality; Clumsy, but speedy and quick to movement, she's very kind and sweet and innocent, and would help save her friends in any way possible.
Appearance; Baggy Ghostmane suit (As if it were a size too big.), White fur, Sky Blue eyes (Never wears goggles), tiny body frame. Her suit's symbols were removed, and a Love Puppy's forehead heart symbol is added to her shoulder, as well as the usual red scarf and leg wraps being dark purple instead.
Notable Characteristics; She's much smaller than a Gremlin usually is (For comparison ideas, at human height average of 5'7-8", she's 5'2", however not being her actual height as I don't really know the average Gremlin height.), she's also very weak for her thin frame, but her light body makes her nimble all the same, even if she's clumsy. She usually carries around a knight's proto-sword as a weapon, but do to her strength, she uses it like an unwieldy claymore.
