Hello.
Since there's no way I am able to play Spiral Knights on Steam because of the Steam Overlay problem never being fixed, I'm going to start to play it on the Client that doesn't use Steam.
But I wanted to know, how can I play my Steam Account of Spiral Knights on the Web Client?
What are the steps to make it work?
As you probably guessed in the other thread, my overlay works fine.
I don't have a high end computer (in fact, the one I usually play on is below minimum specs for this game). Pmdd sure seems to advertise more than troubleshooting in this subforum.
Is there a way to use a steam account on the web client? You used to be able to use the facebook login, but that has long since been disabled.
hey u .. i have two motherboards .. one is ECS and second is gigabyte .. sk doesn't work on ECS i dont know why .. but sk only works in my gigabyte motherboard .. and i am also in steam .. and its not an advertise .. i am here to help everyone ! ;D !!!

There are two ways to use the normal client, but unfortunately OOO does not approve of these methods and has deleted the topic. I may eventually post them elsewhere.
I had this problem a lot, but i tried to connect trough the website into the game with my steam account and i just saw this:

When i logged into the steam game through SK with STEAM:1:0:2379057843256 or something like that and my password, MY WHOLE DATA RESET!
What does it gonna happen?
Dont try to convert the steam account to facebook. i tried all ways and i got the image above or "http://img.webme.com/pic/m/mihai3/Screenshot - 08.jpg"
OOO must fix this ASAP!
Steam Localfilesvalidator It found 13 unvalidated files and it redownloaded them. It restarted the patcher to the latest version... :|
Aaaaand.... nothing... it takes me through a loophole.
So they say thats gonna be fixed... I WAITED 1.2 YEARS AND STILL NOT FIXED

ANOTHER PATCH FIX TODAY AND IT IS BACK! THE STEAM ACCOUNT BUTTON IS BACK! NOW I CAN PLAY AGAIN SK!!!! SO HAPPPY!

Change pc dude .. if u are not able to play .. change the motherboard its important use gigabyte like mine .. if everyone can do this why don't u ? lol
