Hello again,
I am considering getting myself a T3 blade, and was just wondering for some opinions please.
Firstly, I do not have the 4x weapon slot upgrade, so for now at least I only am using two weapons.
Secondly, I am currently using a Cutter, and I like it, but I have heard that there are better blades for late game.
So, can anyone help me?
Calibur, Brandish or continue with Cutter?

In case you were wondering, my other weapon is a voltech alchemer, and I usually use my sword.
Thank you very much in advance.

I used to use a cutter

I switched to a brandish. Can't go wrong with a brandish. Best sword series in the game IMO.

Calibur and brandish. These

Calibur and brandish. These two are beautiful together.

Calibur for undead and pretty much anything, a nightblade for slimes and beasts/gremlins.

Calibur

Haven't really tried the other weapons, but I've found the calibur series to be the most versatile, since it does 100% normal damage which nothing resists and has a really good charge attack that knocks away enemies all around you. Brandish has elemental damage, which gremlins/beasts resist, but I dunno the damage it does.

All these depend on the

All these depend on the series. Acheron/combuster/glacius.

150 -200+ damage to slimes at tier 2

100-200 damage to constructs at tier 2

250+ damage to gremlins at tier 2

and it should be way higher at tier 3, but it gets harder but more versatile to use over any of the sealed sword series.

Caliburs are lonely swords

Caliburs are lonely swords their special in their own way not as strong as specializing in any type of monster, but it's high speed along with abilty to smash undead figures gives it versatility.

I say pick a cold vanquisher/leviathan to go along with Acheron/Glacius.

Any of the three

If you like the cutter, it will take some adjustment to switch to something slower.

All three of the sword lines you are considering are fine. It's a matter of picking the one that best suits your playstyle. I recommend using all three at the 2* level and seeing which line's speed and knockback is most appealing to you.

I like my Dread Venom Striker a lot. I intend to eventually work up a brandish to an acheron to use occasionally, but that's a distant goal for me because the Dread Venom suits my needs quite well. Others prefer other swords, so don't take out word for it; try for yourself.

hmm, thank you for the tips.

hmm, thank you for the tips. I heard that the dread venom striker is good against jelly king. Im considering brandish at the moment. If I do go with brandish, what element do you suggest I get for t3?

Well...

Depends on what you want to do with it. Firestorm Citadel? Get a Glacius, since the enemies are all fire-based and undead. Regular running around? Combuster is nice in non-fire levels since burning stuff is often pretty effective, and the Acheron deals nicely with slimes/gremlins.

A good question to consider: What enemies give you the most problems, other than fiends and beasts? Take one of the brandishes that are strong against that type.

Dread Venom is very nice against the Jelly King mostly just because of his constant healing. You can get around with poison vials, but not having to worry about them (or running out of them) because your sword will do that is pretty handy. Also allows for fast attack/shield to bounce away the minions.

Fiendish weaknesses

The problem with the Nightblade/Acheron is that it's weak against undead and fiends. Fiends are some of the toughest monsters in the game and graveyards, full of undead, are some of the toughest levels. Greavers and devilites are quick and the fewer hits it takes to kill them the better.

The Acheron is great against everything else, but you have to use something else in fiend levels and graveyards. The Dread Venom Striker has no such weakness and is quite wonderful against greavers thanks to its blazing speed which is why I recommend it if you have to pick one. Thankfully, you don't have to pick one, so make both and equip wisely for the strata you're entering.

The three brandish lines are supposed to do similar damage against their respective creature types. (Just what I've heard, no one has had a chance to test all the depths yet.) The Acheron has a damage table in the wiki to show its damage at various tiers.

<3 my Acheron for gremlins and slimes. Does a wonderful job on both. Also, it is also decent for all constructs one will encounter.
