I have found many of the "non-AT pros" have another thing going for them, their uvs. You don't really need AT if you can tank 5-6 hits. Just sit there and rely on your heavy sword. As a new challenge, I dare you "non-AT pros" ie the list made by Contri to make a video where you do not have items worth as much as normal knight's whole account. Use Asi Med and Below and no defense uvs(use a skolver set. no bkc) as well as no AT. If you do well, then consider yourself a god among the LD community bypassing the unfairness of Uv's and AT. This is directed at those like TheirIllusion, Bleyken, Darkcub etc whose asi is worth my entire account and whose tankiness is crazy. If you have the balls to be up to this challenge, please post your video on this page and I will commend you(not that it matters).
New Challenge!
Awesome, I'll go spend thousands of energy and hours of my time to get a lousy commendation from a likely mediocre player.
I won't make a lot of stuff without uvs only because you think that I'm not good playing. Also Darkcub doesn't even play 1v1s.
Pfft... Who needs attack speed increase when you can have attack speed decrease low as a recon when you have no asi uvs. Your patience can help you execute plans without going too fast and that could help stall a point while you cap it / defend it.
I guess it's true you rely on your UVs to be considered "good".

Just saying, you don't need UVs to say, equip Vog + striker and get max ASI swords, or Nameless/justifier + recon for max ASI guns.
You don't need to be insanely rich to get two trinket slots to get the same VH ASI (or VH damage) for your primary weapon type.
Either way you try to push at it to try to discredit them, the main thing their UVs or rare gear allow over people who have ASI armor/offense trinkets is that they can have more health (instead of having overkill dmg/asi with trinkets, they can apply it to extra health), which lets them survive a surprise attack or two in an RLD match because surprise attacks are likely the primary source of them taking damage from worse players.
They'll still likely know how to move ahead of you and prepare an attack after hitting you, because they know the common autopilot movements that people like to do. And that still sets them ahead of most "casual" players who just play LD for fun and lulz with no investment in time/gear.
ASI Med can essentially be considered completely fair. Its eazy to get, and probably has the bezt cost/benefit ratio of any UV (In terms of asi or ctr).
Casual players can easily obtain asi med, and leave the asi VHs to the hardheads who think bigger numbers are always better.
I'm not even considered good because of the polaris, if I had any interest in your opinions I wouldn't use it since I can use all the other guns. And this is always the same story, people calling me p2w or cheater because of the uvs. You don't know anything about me.
"You don't really need AT if you can tank 5-6 hits."
Vali hits?
I'd like to point out that bkc is really common in LD. +it's one of my 3 5-star non-max uvd armors.
one thing that you - and a lot of other people in general - all seem to take for granted is that at one point or another, everyone started off with pretty vanilla gear. UV factors are tertiary at best, especially in regards to asi, since even by your UV restrictions, i could go completely run a lobby with BTB and valiance and suffer absolutely no downside aside outside of lower normal defense than most sets would carry by default. (whatever will i do aaaaaaaaaaaaaa)
ultimately this thread is more of a "bawwww" thread and less of a "prove me wrong" thread.
<- has max asi (through Vog gear) and pentas
<- doesn't use AT
<- has 3 years of LD experience
<- has dmg record of 18k
;-;
That was the point, 18k is bad and idk why I've never been able to get higher.
I use full Skolver basically all the time paired with ASI Med weapons and I'll tell ya that it ain't too hard to hit 20k+ against some decent opponents especially paired with a heavy sword or 4 bars of connection on you. Try raising the stakes a bit more if you truly feel this way about players with good loadouts. Epic-Legend-Knight averaged 20k+ in full Cobalt with no UVs so... This ain't all really sayin' too much if you have the loadout you described.
EDIT: Not saying that I agree with this thread (people with UVs do good with or without UVs simply because their just good at the game) but more like if you actually believe this, then at least make it somewhat valid for yourself. You say that if you have UVs you're just winning because of them and them alone. But isn't ASI Med a UV itself? I mean, I'm jussayin'. #postnomakesense
I feel you man. I have a mix of stuff though my btb and gf are asi med so i use half vog aand a bkc with fire h and ele h nothing really special. And most of the people with uvs actually worked for their stuff. Illu merches, ezho grinds fsc, people work for what they have generally. I've hit 20k + mutliple times without at on my vanilla alt during gvg. Asi m avenger, unheated no uv lv 5 ff, 4* and 3* hp pendant, pierce low skolver set. But even if you have no uvs or uvs it matters how you use them. I can easily defeat many people with or without uvs, and there are a few who can defeat me without trinks or in proto armor. Asi just makes you hit faster. If you dont get hit, you don't die. Learn patterns and algorithms. I spectate people if their playstyle rekt me or purposely hunt them down til their tactics become old.
Case in point: I played a lot of T2 this weekend with roughly the same group of people, and kept getting put up against Ieast. The first times I faced him he killed me without ever getting touched, and by the end of today I was trading evenly with him.
...still only broke 10k once in about 50 games though. :U
Hey, I don't like this thread and I don't like El-Verdad neither, but this post says
''If you have the balls to be up to this challenge, please post your video on this page and I will commend you''
Yeah he isnt a god or the be-all judger.
But the hate is real in this game cuz you can never be accepted by everyone. I lost 5-4 to the #1 ranked eu player and apparentlt i've been called names upon names. Yet people are using literally acheron/gf in the aame loadout only, hitting the same damage and being praised? XDD #Corruptbruh
One side: Bad players complain about good players being op. They see they have UVs and assume they are responsible for everything. They cry in a corner, blaming everything but them selves.
The reality: Good players notice fast they are above average. They invest time or money into the game to get UVs, making it possible to have slight advantage in some cases.
I just laugh when people challenge each other in damage when it's highly reliable on the quality if your enemy players.

@Theirillusion
Wait, do the good players exist in this game?
Held of on posting here for a while, partly deciding which account to use...The name drop tho (hi Klipik).
I haven't spent much (any) time in T3, but have spent more than is healthy in T2. I've been using a heavily-UV'd alt named Ieast for the past while. In contrast, my main has exactly 1 relevant UV, an ASI low Nightblade. Other than UVs the accounts have been equivalent (no difference in playstyle or base gear choices). The amount of recognition (both positive and negative), however, has been vastly increased by the UVs.
I wouldn't say I'm a good player by any stretch of the imagination; if you look up "mediocre" in a dictionary, you won't find my picture cause I'm too mediocre to be in a dictionary. However, there are lots of truly good T2 players with not much (low/med) or no UVs at all. UVs don't suddenly increase your mechanical skill or game sense, but they can definitely push "mediocre" up to "ok at this game I guess".
At the end of the day, what does it matter what people use? Let people play as they like.
Surely with those uvs you are able to afford a measly non-defensed skolver and asi med.
