So, what are we expecting from the Giant Time consuming "Gunner Update"?

From my knowledge we expect:

- Arcade exchanged into Sandbox mode

- More ways to earn cr

- Giving some guns elemental and shadow damage ( hint hint Blaster hint hint)

- Nerfing some guns

- Adding a new tier 3 boss

- adding new areas, textures, mobs

- Balances

- More FreeToPlay?

- Probably more Promos XC

Is that all we expect, really? There must be more behind this elusive update that we so desire,right?

Well, theres more things than you might know...Hehhee...

- A Completely new gun type? (Confirmed)

- Herex is the tier 3 boss to be added?

- In Apocrea killing the apocrean would crash your game and DL Remember.exe (Fake)

- Apocrea has a new objective altogether?

- New Minibosses in a sandbox world

- New construct enemies similar to the Collector

- The servers might shut down due to no players playing anymore,this is what happend to games like (Redacted)

Spiral Spy Guy is gonna remake the game with private servers , or is he?

Yeah, thats all i had to list...

Confused.

I'm pretty sure you're thinking of the gunner update as the actual gunner update plus the arcade redux, and there hasn't been any announcements regarding the redux in quite a while, so just expect new guns and some rebalancing for the gunner update.

And that giant list of expectations is the reason why "the" gunner update will never happen. People expect it to be the messiah of updates that "fixes" everything. Three Rings would be out of their minds to try to put all of that into a single patch (the complexity behind that would surely break things in numerous ways).

Nick stated the Clockworks via Arcade Gates would offer a sandbox-type experience, not turn them into sandbox levels outright. Considering his track record on promises (very ideal promises) however, it may be subject to changes or at least subversions.

What other means could there be to think of? Slot machines?

- Giving some guns elemental and shadow damage ( hint hint Blaster hint hint)
I always did fancy the idea of giving the Pepperbox line Elemental damage, due to the high temperature of the ammunitions.

- Nerfing some guns
This is a strong fallacy. Owe yourself the task of specifying which guns, the reason and motive for applying a nerf and to what extent.

- Adding a new tier 3 boss
At this point I would take a new, unique boss stratum of any tier. Considering it's long due, it's fair to assume everyone expects this sort of content long after Ironclaw Munition Facility's release.

- adding new areas, textures, mobs- Balances
Specify.

- More FreeToPlay?
Specify. Promotional prize boxes and items via Supply Depot?

- Probably more Promos XC
Be serious.

- A Completely new gun type? (Confirmed)
Shotguns have been hinted at and speculated for quite a long time.

- Herex is the tier 3 boss to be added?
Further confrontations with Herex are very likely, but him being a stratum boss to the extent of Vanaduke or Snarbolax is out of the question as far as I can tell.

- In Apocrea killing the apocrean would crash your game and DL Remember.exe (Fake)
Not only would break the immersion of the game to an extreme extent, but this stunt may be susceptible of actually causing severe bugs.

- Apocrea has a new objective altogether?
Out of my juridiction.

- New Minibosses in a sandbox world
I still have a die-hard request for the Green Jelly Giant to return.

Very likely.

Almost one year

From what we know we can only expect the Gunner Update stuff. Although for an entire year, there's gotta be more to it. Hopefully this update will be super awesome like the recent Minecraft one. Also, I still bet that the update will go live on the day or the closest Wednesday to the day that it was first announced.

This game is slowly going to become like the Stomping Land. Don't know what it is? Here, let me tell you, The Stomping Land was a fairly expensive game, the game didn't get any updates and the only updates were "limited time things" Much like promos. In late August, a player discovered that the Devs of the game, just made it too make money. There wasn't updates for 6 months, right around when the game came out. The game became hated. Then do you know what happened? Late august, the game was pulled from steam. It can no longer be purchased due to lack of "actual" updates. Let's just see what happens in a few months.

That's not the gunner update. That's a separate and forgotten Arcade Redux.
