What would you guys do if spiral knights was shuting down for good?
for me I don't know I mean i out way to much time into this game and i just love it for some reason can't give it up
What would you do?
It is cool, I spent 900 hours on this game, played almost every level OOO has got to offer with the exception of SL. Crafted 10 5* helm and 10 5* armour, 4 damage type of each set of weapons, shields that could cover all my needs, a maxed out maskeriath. 600K cr in the bank, I can die a rich knight *lights a cigar* Ooooh yeah...
Looking down into the clockwork,
Large cogs turned by,
Every monsters advancing together,
So willingly to sacrifice crowns,
Players accepted their fate of grinding,
Give up freewill, conform,
Individual pieces hurled together,
Becomes a full storm.
Looking down into the Great colony,
Grand Arsenal rise,
Even the developers with the greatest intentions,
Started to believe in their own lies,
They can always talk about the future,
But at the end, contents must be made,
The only way out of the clockworks,
Is to strike out and pave your own way!
We all play,
Our own knights,
Will you fuel the desire to grind?
Always struggle with the truth,
With all the games you might have played.
No matter how awesome this game is,
You will eventually leave,
Even when the Vana has fallen,
The grinding still raged with in!!!
I would remember Lego Universe while my mind warps itself into an inescapable void while the sounds of evil whisper in my ears. Back on Earth, I'm living my 3rd life.
Didn't that game die not long after release? Or am I thinking of another game?
About a year after release, it was shutdown due to lack of subscripted players. It was my favorite MMO too, still is. But ah well! Now I have Spiral Knights. Until this shuts down too...
"I would remember Lego Universe while my mind warps itself into an inescapable void while the sounds of evil whisper in my ears. Back on Earth, I'm living my 3rd life."
This isn't directed at anyone specifically.
Whoa whoa, no one (ever ! !) said anything about the game shutting down. Why does everyone always jump to this conclusion when there's nothing that's fulfilling their own wants?
I honestly can't stress this enough, but you have no obligation to be bound to the game, as in, you it won't kill you if you didn't play for ONE, two, a week, month, ect. There is surely something else in your life that you SHOULD be paying more attention to than a game's state, like school, family, or most importantly YOU.
Just take a break. It won't hurt you, or the game. >_<
Wow! I was an LU player before it shut down, too. Couldn't really play it that well, as my computer then was terrible. The one I play SK on is much, much better. I was a Sentinel Samurai, spent my last time in the game trying to beat all the Ninjago Monastery missions and obtain the Valiant weps.
I would just move on. I had enough time with this game, and would be sad. Afterwards, I would play other games, watch anime, and other stuff. Plus, Smash Bros. for the 3DS is coming in October, so that will have my attention.
i'd focus on nintendo again and be more productive overall instead of being a 8/7 a week slave to this game. :) pls shut down OOO
As somebody who has 2,345 hours logged in this game on Steam alone, I definitely think I've had my fair share of the game. Would I sorta freak out? Yeah, of course. Would it really bother me later on? Probably not. I've experienced mostly everything this game has had to offer so far, the only things I haven't played are UFSC and the apocrea event. Granted, There's a lot of things I've yet to do that I want to (get filthy rich, find a darkfang shield, roll 3 max uv's on my proto armor set, craft the most outlandishly beautiful costume in existence, etc.) but I definitely think I've put enough time into it that I think I could say "I've had my fill" and walk away.
