If we were able to get a craft able version of the mixmaster from like 2 star to 5 star, would it be considered a reskin since the mixmaster came first or what?
would it be called a reskin
Is it functionally identical to Overcharged Mixmaster, but with a different name and texture? Then it's a reskin.
Is it functionally different from Overcharged Mixmaster? Then it's not a reskin.
Is it called Overcharged Mixmaster, and identical to the Overcharged Mixmaster that we currently have? All that changed was its alchemy path (mode of acquisition)? Then it's not a reskin. It's an alchemy path change. That's happened in the past --- see the history of Haze Bomb.
My thought is that they are both reskins.
For instance, deadly candy poker is a reskin of final flourish. Final flourish is also a reskin of deadly candy poker.
In a nice little program called Gamemaker you can make "reskins" by giving a new object a parent ( which is made before ).
The "Child" object has the same "Events" (actions of the parent). Basically it does what the parent object does but looks different.
Child objects can have actions that the Parent object doesn't have. Drivers, Tortoguns, Shard Bombs, etc.... nearly every item that a brother/sister item could possible be made from the same parent. Take Parent gun make it normal damage, take child gun and give it an event that changes the damage type, or damage reduction and status chance/type.
Considering that the Mixmaster was made first (so far as we know) we have to assume that if Mix guns were released that they would be the "Child" (or reskin) of the Mixmaster.
By god you're right! The mixmaster is a reskin of the Object class in Java among other things! And the auction house is a reskin of lwjgl's display functions! :O
No.
Reskins have identical functionality to their original.
2* cannot be a reskin of a 5* since it would be functionally different.
Only the 5* version would be if it existed
