Hi,This is a idea on how to get 6 whiskers easily:

1-If you find a book post it in the forums
2-Take 3 players from the forums who wants to join you to kill Magrel
3- after the boss battle each one of the players in the team will get 1 whisker
4-Anyone who finds a book repeat stage 1 to 4.

In this way it will be easier for players to get 6 whiskers(even if not everyone might be able to get one :/ )

The only issue is that i don't have the time to plan and execute this plan out so i will be quite thankful if someone can create a new post and record any of the players who found a book and want to kill the boss with other players.

the problem are if they want to "share" with the forums. some players are kinda greedy and want to save the book to resell later because you know.. Its far way more expensive now because you get Cowl + 1 whisker which mean 1 black kat armor.

but anyway. if people going to help im going to help too. unless of course we start to discuss "who have the right" to get in the party, then people will start "trowing" prices for their party slot.

That's true but this can be a way it could be done:

The player with the book is allowed to ask for a little payment from 1 to a maximum of 5k from each player for each run (unless the players agrees to revive the owner with his sparks which will mean that they wont have to pay)

Even if I personally think that it should be free because the book owner looses nothing from making 3 players join his/her party.

But I think that my suggestion to the solution is good enough?what do you think?

Hey there.

Pardon my assumption, but it sounds like you've never possessed a book in your hands. I myself stay perfectly sane. But once others have one in their hands, it changes them. One might even say their inner greed comes out. I know you have mentioned inviting 3 players for a margrel convention, but if that person who initiated the fight never gets invited to one again, what then? Most people often take friends/guildmates over a forum random. Partially what Sweet-Hope said.

What I'm trying to get at is, less good comes from this than you might think with the addition of people not being bound by their word.

Don't get me wrong, I think what you're doing here is pretty admirable. But, nothing is stopping a book holder from not following what your plan is. Probably because these books have a 0.5% chance of appearing, and are no where near easy to come by with regular playing.

Alternatively, convince the

Alternatively, convince the Admin to comprehend just what sort of insanity they have released and get them to roll the system back 48 hours.

A whisker gets you the good enuf 4* black kat hat, not to mention the book owner also gets the 5* thrown in as well (the smart thing to do is sell the 5*, use the 4*). Worth a 5Kcr ride along?

Crafting the new kat eye/hiss/claw items is a horrendous waste of whiskers, so don't expect to see anyone wearing them, ever. Consume 6 whiskers for basic 5* armor, or instead sell off 6 BK 3* armors/4* BK hats, what do you think is the correct choice?

The 3 standard armors should not need whiskers, period.
The intermediate Black Kat gear should not exist, or at least not without a significant rethink.
The 5* Black Kat armor could have been distributed using the same drop method as the hat, 50% chance for either one.
The Black Kat spawn rate possibly should have been doubled over previous events, in order to meet the demands of acquiring both a hat and armor from a single event.

If massive errors in judgment like this are the future of Spiral Knights, then God knows what sort of train wrecks are yet to come.

Don't worry. I'll share any books I find with you maybe.
