Hi, this seems like a reportable bug. The existing system with the Kat helms uses Kat Tribe Fetishes only, not a Dark Ritual-exclusive material. The armors with the same bonuses should mirror the helms in their method of acquirability.

It does not appear to be a bug, much more an intended feature. Cloaks and its upgrades now require whiskers to craft, and this is an issue of discussion in the General Discussions.
