It appears equipment drops are more common during kat events. Today, I found a thwack hammer in hazardous heist, two days ago my friend's friend found an owlite shield in alone in the dark, and Zeddy found a surge breaker armor two days ago... Coincidence or something to do with book of dark rituals chance = equipment drop chance?

We would need more data, to tease out whether the drop rate is significantly different. I doubt that we will ever have enough reliable data.

That might be true. In this single week one of my friend found 4* shadow alchemer in a box and second one got TWO ghostly auras from two mewkats.

Ummm....
The games randomizer is probably broken in some way. Many more occurances like these have been happening lately.
I had a Guild-Mate who got a Book of Dark Rituals on his first Black Kat AND 3 Mewkats in one day...
II suggest we start running the Clockworks a bit more often to take advantage of these chances for extra goodies.

@Ontopic: yeah this probably is true because yesterday my friend found a 4 stars freezing bomb in alone in the darkness mission. so i guess i should try to farm Dark Fang at OCH since "rumours" says they dropped one there.
