(The fact that some people I know have farmed more than twice the time I took to farm and yet found no book ._.)

I too me 1 year to find a book after killing 2k tokens worth of kats and i see players finding 2-4 books by just running once or fewer times than me ¬_¬
You could give it to a friend who's seeking for it so that he might also help 3 other friends of his.

Just mail it to Round-Shinigami. His (mine) steam account has been hacked and he (me) lost $50 worth money + items (and locked his (my) account himself to prevent further theft, but now can't even use Steam to log into SK, only thing left to do being book hunting - no luck so far). Kinda sad. But whats more sad is Steam Support has been quiet since Friday, when this happened. Come on people, 3 working days passed! Even banks work faster!!! /rant

But I also think you should have your cake and eat it too! Sell three slots to the Margrel fight. Pocket 15kE. Then give the book to your friend to fight Margrel with the three people.
Friend gets the hat. You get the gold. Win/win and you still make someone's day.
You could hold a raffle, that way many forumers would have a chance and it would be randomized.
Use the RNG to send it back into the void.
(and obvious qualification for joining the raffle would to not already have a BKC or book)
